'Commonwealth Electoral Acts 1902-1905.
NEW ROLLS. =STATE OF VICTORIA.IN pursuance of the provisions of the Commonwealth
Electoral. Acts ,1902 -1905 and of a Proclamation datedthe thirtieth day of September, re,o8, made by His Excel-lency the Governor - General of the Commonwealth ofAustralia, directing among other things- -
I. That all Electoral Divisions of the State ofVictoria shall be divided into Subdivisions asspecified in the Schedule to the said Proclama-tion;
2. That new rolls for the State of Victoria 'andfor all Electoral Divisions and Subdivisions inthat State shall forthwith be prepared by theCòmmonwealth Electoral Officer for that State ;'
3. That the Commonwealth Electoral Officer shallforthwith, after the preparation of the newrolls is complete, by . notice in the Gazettenotify that new rolls have been prepared asdirected ;
4. That upon such notice being published in theGazette the new rolls shall be the rolls preparedfor the purposes of the said Acts, and the Sub-divisions constituted by the said Proclamationshall have full force and effect for all thepurposes of the said Acts ;

TENDERS will be received at the office of the DeputyPostmaster - General, Sydney, up to half -past Two
p.m. on the 24th inst., from persons desirous of con-tracting for the supply and erection of about 1,109 newwooden poles and other work required between WalchaRoad and Armidale.
Tenderers must state the shortest time in which the workwould be completed, and the amount of royalty, if any,per pole, included in the price for new wooden poles.
Specifications may be seen and tender forms, scheduleof work. &c., obtained at the office of the Electrical En-gineer, General Post Office, Sydney, and at the Post OfficesWest Maitland, Muswellbrook, Armidale, Glen Innes,Inverell, and Tamworth.

FRESH 'fenders, sealed and indorsed " Tender forConveyance of Mails," are invited, and will be
received at the office of the Deputy Postmaster- General,Perth, until noon on Tuesday, the 23rd March, 1909, forthe conveyance of mails, as under, for a term of one,two, or three years, from the date time State Governmenttake over tic Railway, viz.:
From and to and to and from the Post Office andRailway Station, Raveusthorpe, as often as required.
Tenderers must state how they propose to carry mails.Where mails are conveyed by vehicle, the contractor
«ill be required to convey, without extra cost to the De-partment, Parcels Post parcels up to eleven (II) poundseach in weight, and where carried on horseback or bycamel, Parcel Post parcels up to three (3) pounds each inweight.
The arrival and departure of mails will be subject toinstructions from the Deputy Postmaster- General, Perth,and liable to alteration at any time during the period ofcontract.
Every tender must bear the bond fide signatures, dulywitnessed, of the tenderer and of two responsible personswilling to become bound for the due fulfilment of thecontract in a sum not exceeding the gross amount of thetender, for the whole period over which it extends.
Every tender must be accompanied by the written con-sent, duly witnessed, of persons proposed as bondsmen,to execute the necessary bond for the due performance ofthe contract in the event of such tender being accepted.
Tenders must be accompanied, in cases where theamount thereof exceeds ¿50 per annum, by a deposit equalto 5 per centum on the annual amount of such tender upto ¿I,000; and 21 per centum on any further amount be-yond ji,000, such deposit to be in cash or in the formof a cheque indorsed by the manager of the bank uponwhich it is drawn, or a bank draft made payable to theReceiver, Public Moneys, General Post Office, Perth.
