professional and connotations of darkness and death.• The sizes (Large and Small) fit in with the conventions of what

audiences expect to see in a typical trailer credit.• Using dyers star by putting in the main actresses name alongside

the director and producers to interest the audience into watching the film

• A bright background to contrast against the black writing so the information is clear.

Extra information titles:

• THIS HALLOWEEN- Dramatic style on final cut building in and out with white font to connotations of the supernatural. Big and bold to draw as much attention as possible. By mentioning that it is coming this Halloween not only fits in with it being a horror but also promotes the film to the audience letting them know and helping them to prepare for exactly when it will be released.

• A NORMAL NEIGHBOURHOOD-Dramatic style on final cut which builds in and back out again. White (the same as the rest) to show a continuity of information which makes it look less random and much more professional. Having this fits in with the plot of the film itself and lets the trailer make more sense to the audience also building intrigue.

• IT HASThis not only builds up suspense but brings intrigue to the audiences as they will want to find out what ‘it’ is. Fitting in with the plot also this is a good way of drawing the reader in to the film and trailer. Using the same style, colour and font as the other informational titles.

• BASED ON TRUE EVENTSUsing the same style, colour and font as the other informational titles. This quote is seen in many trailers to scare the audience further, it makes the trailer itself seem much more realistic and brings the idea that it could happen to anyone making it that bit more intense and frightening. It leaves thoughts in the audiences mind and they will relate back to the film when they may think their in a supernatural situation.

Underneath every word coming up on the information titles I am going to put a crash sound to create further suspense, tension and intrigue.

The film title-Using the exact same title which is present in my other promotional products for the film to show continuity so the audience remember the title and fix the image in their heads. The colours of the title fit in with the horror style perfectly with red connoting danger or blood, the white shadowed outer glow looking misty connoting supernatural elements and the black background connoting darkness and death.

Sound:When the title pops up using the similar style to Incidious does in their horror film I am going to overlap lots of different sounds (drones, violins and crashes) to make a loud noise to highlight the title, grab attention and even make the audience jump.
