The garment manufacturing process is a flow- process, a grid which involves various activities with a proper sequence of jobs, inspection, transport and temporary storage. 2. It should be made a point to calculate the optimum distance for the equipment and the helpers to transport the garment pieces from one operation to another. 3. Production labour should be optimum and unnecessary motion to be avoided by the operators. 4. Production equipment to be used should be minimum. machine utilization time if reduced increases productivity. 5. Production space area should be used to the optimum capacity. 6. Production Labour and Supervisor labour should be reduced. 7. Inventory cost should be optimum 8. Maintenance labour and maintenance equipment should be optimum 9. Raw material utilization should be done to the optimum capacity. 10. Temporary storage area should be used in an efficient manner.
