Introduction

Industrial relations present a serious problem and can have possibly have a crippling effect on the operations of the organization in addition to heavy losses by way of workmen’s compensation, lost production and possible morale of workforce.

Accidents involve injuries, deaths and even large evacuation of large number of people. The largest industrial accident in recent history that resulted in over 2800 deaths was Bhopal Gas Accident in 1984.

Unsafe Physical Condition: Unsafe construction. Hazardous processes. Improper safety apparel. Incorrect ventilation.

Unsafe Personal Acts: Use of unsafe equipment. Failure to use safety attire. Performing operations for which supervisory permission is
