MarketDefinition/DescriptionTheterm“multiexperience”referstothevariouspermutationsofmodality(touch,voiceand
gesture,forexample),deviceandappwithwhichusersinteractontheirdigitaljourneysacross
diversetouchpoints.Multiexperiencedevelopmentinvolvescreatingfit-for-purposeappsbasedon
touchpoint-specificmodalities,whileatthesametimeensuringaconsistentuserexperience
acrossweb,mobile,wearables,conversationalandimmersivetouchpoints.Multiexperience

changeofnamereflectstheevolutionofMADPstoserveexpandingappusecasesand
developmentrequirements.Theserequirementsgobeyondmobileappstoenabledevelopmentof
progressivewebapps(PWAs),conversationalapps(voiceassistantsandchatbots),immersive
appsandwearableapps.
TheMXDPmarketcontainssomeofthelargestenterprisesoftwarevendorsthatservetheneeds
ofdevelopmentteams.Italsoincludesup-and-comingvendorsthatofferindependent
developmentplatformoptions.AllMXDPssupporttheneedofprofessionaldeveloperstouse
high-controldevelopmenttools(inorderwords,code-centrictools),andmostalsosupport
developmentusinglow-codeapproachesforhigherdeveloperproductivity.However,theprimary
