INTRODUCTION

Platinum Survey Consultant (PSC) is a Licensed Land Survey Firm approved by Land

Surveyors Board Malaysia on 22nd. May 2014 to operate in Peninsular Malaysia and Federal

Territory of Labuan which has an office in Taman Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur. The same PSC also

was approved by Sabah Surveyors Board on 29th. September 2014 to operate in Sabah which has an

office in Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The PSC has been registered with the Ministry of

Finance Malaysia (MOF) on November 6, 2014. The PSC is owned by Datuk Sr Dr. Abdul Kadir Bin

Taib a Licensed Land Surveyor under LLS Act 1958 (Act 458) (Revised 1991) and under Sabah

Surveyors Ordinance, 1960.

Platinum Survey Consultant Sdn. Bhd. (PSCSB) was established and incorporated on 30th.

September 2014. The PSCSB is wholly owned by Bumiputera. The Board of Directors of PSCSB are

Datuk Sr Dr. Abdul Kadir Bin Taib and Sr Che Mohamad Bakri Bin Omar. The founder of the firm is

Datuk Sr Dr. Abdul Kadir Bin Taib where he has served with the Department of Survey and Mapping

Malaysia (JUPEM) for 36 years since April 1978, in various positions in Cadastral Division and

Mapping Division including his last post as Director General of Survey and Mapping from June 2009

until 9th.April 2014. Sr Che Mohamad Bakri Bin Omar has also served with JUPEM for 32 years

since 1979 until April 2011 where his last post as Director of Survey and Mapping, Department of

Survey and Mapping, Federal Territory of Labuan from March 2005 until April 2011.

Provides Cadastral Survey works includes

preparation of Title Survey Plan for

Amalgamation, Partition and Subdivision

Produces Certified Plan PA (B) for Strata such

HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY

Bathymetric is the study of underwater depth. A bathymetric map usually shows

of terrain as contour lines and may additionally provide surface navigational

information. In short, bathymetric chart is final product of hydrographic

surveying project. Provides other services required by client such as tidal

observation, waves, salinity and currents.

GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM

GIS is a method of digital mapping and it links

data to its geographic location.

GIS services such as analysis results in better

decision making because it helps to answer

questions and solve problems related to features be

required.

GIS data can be visualized through maps, it can

make complex information easier to understand.


REMOTE SENSING

Airborne survey work by using LIDAR (Light

Detection and Ranging), UAV and Aircraft.

Provides Photogrammetric mapping. Satellite is

the artificial object which has been placed and

move into orbit. Satellites are used for a large

number of purposes and related with image
