Deaconess Sports Park
Divide facility into two quads (see map) with temporary fencing.
Encourage scheduling to avoid crossover.
Utilize separate entry gates for each quad.
When open, station a Site Supervisor or Management Team Member at each gate with a
counter to ensure social gathering limits are followed.
Place temporary fencing around the picnic/playground areas to deter use until appropriate time.
Work with Deaconess Hospital to develop signage to be used around the facility.
Entry Gate Signage:
Reminders and explanations of social distancing.
Mask usage recommendations.
Hand washing and sanitizing information.
Statement of Intent of Management to provide the safest facility possible under the current
conditions.
Social distancing concrete stickers for restrooms and concessions areas.
Develop reporting protocols for sanitization schedule.
Sanitize all hard surfaces including: dugouts, bleacher seating, restrooms, concession stands, and picnic/
playground areas.
Place hand sanitizer stations throughout the park including: restrooms, concession stands, and entry
gates.

total per designated
athletic field space (see
maps); one team per
field.
Open for practices only: Tuesdays and
Thursdays, two-hour blocks from 5:00 pm
to 9:00 pm.
Coaches and players only (no parents or
spectators).
Concessions will not be available.
Ensure all cleaning and sanitization
requirements are met: utilize this time to
train supervisory staff.
Encourage CDC Safety Protocols.
STEP TWO:
JUNE 14
Limit of 250 people per
designated athletic
field space (see maps).
Resume League and Tournament play on
a modified basis. Scheduling parameters
will be provided to League and
Tournament organizers; gaps between
games to move crowds in and out of the
facility, establish designated warm up
areas to maximize social distancing.
Coaches and players only (no parents or
spectators).
Concessions will not be available.
Ensure all cleaning and sanitization
requirements are met.
Encourage CDC Safety Protocols.
STEP THREE:
JULY 4
250+ people per
athletic facility.
Resume normal operations; all fields
incorporated into one space again.
Parents and spectators are able to attend.
