We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your sup-port of Casper Youth for Christ (CYFC). Our Ministry Stats at CYFC, don’t just mean numbers, but it represents Christ-sharing relationships with the youth we serve. These are our August 2020 stats:

Lunch at the Link Outreach

The Lunch at the Link Outreach served 480 hot meals to youth. We also have youth attend our lunches, which are studying virtually. One youth is taking two to-go boxes to her parents. She has eight people in her household. We took her to Restoration Church to obtain a food box for her family.

Indoor Skateboard Outreach

Our indoor skateboard outreach had 128 youth in attendance in August. CYFC served all 128 youth hot meals, which included snacks.

Bouncy House

Our “Fun Day Friday” at the Link has been a great success. We did our last bouncy house outreach for the summer. There were 28 youth in attendance. The youth enjoyed hot dogs, ice cream, chips, lemon-ade, sidewalk chalk, and of course, the wa-ter balloon fights. During the fun activities, Carl House shared a Bible object lesson about Christ with the youth. The doors are still closed on seven of our outreach locations. We are praying and brainstorming creative ways to reach youth. Please keep this in your prayers. Be-cause of His Steadfast Love, Sharon Lockwood, E.D.

I was at a local

hardware store the

other day and as I

was checking out,

a young lady be-

hind the counter

said, “Do you still do the Bible stud-

ies at Centennial

Middle school? Sadly, I had to say no be-

cause of the COVID 19 pandemic; we are

not allowed access to the school at this

time. This young girl is now a sophomore at

one of our local high schools. She attended

our Campus Life group when she was in 7th

and 8th grade. While we visited, she remi-

nisced about how she always remembered

a particular Bible study teaching called

“F.R.O.G.,” which means to “fully rely on God.” That day I passed out small plastic frogs for youth to keep in their locker to al-

ways remind them that whatever difficulty

they may face, they can always remember

to fully rely on God amid their trials and

hardships. "That simple Bible study impact-

ed her life. After several years, she still re-

membered that TRUTH because God's Word

never returns void. Even though the

schools aren't allowing extracurricular activ-

ity, we are still praying for these youth and

believe we will be back in

the schools soon. Please

keep our Campus Life

Outreaches in your pray-

ers. Carl House, Ministry

Director

Sky has attend-

ed our Lunch

at the Link Out-

reach for over

three years.

She was very

resistant to the

Gospel. Re-

cently, she shared with Hope that she was

having difficulty sleeping due to night-

mares. Hope asked her if she could pray

for her, and Sky said, "You know I don't

believe in God." Hope said, "Well, I'm go-

ing to pray for you anyway." Hope prayed

that the nightmares would stop. When Sky

came to lunch the next day, Hope asked

her how she slept. Sky told her she slept

very well. Hope let her know it was the

power of prayer. Since then, Sky has

opened up more. We were able to get her

connected to a job training program. She

has a passion for photography and wants

to get a Canon camera and eventually

start her own business. God wants Sky to

succeed in life, and we know with God, all

things are possible. Part of our goal is to

inspire youth toward fulfilling their God-

given destiny. Sky continues to eat lunch

at the Link daily, and we also helped her

family with groceries, thanks to local food

pantries. Generous individuals in our com-

munity are purchasing clothes for her for

employment and school. This is all done in

the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks

to partners like you who care about youth

in our community, CYFC continues to show

youth the way of the cross. Sharon L—E.D.

During our

Lunch at the

Link Out-

reach, we en-

counter many

teens daily,

establishing

many relation-

ships. One of the teens that attends our

Lunch at the Link outreach everyday lives at

a shelter and is homeless. He is always tell-

ing us that he believes in satan and is not a

Christian. He said to me, "you can't make

me a Christian!" My response to him was, "I

am not trying to make you a Christian, and

by the way, God created Lucifer, who be-

came satan." God is the Creator of all

things. He even created you! I love these

encounters with the youth and the chal-

lenge of taking their unbelief and speaking

the love of God to them and speaking God's

word over them. Most of the youth we min-

ister to are unchurched and very guarded in

their hearts. Every day as we are serving

them, we know that we are giving them the

love of Jesus, and it changes their hearts

and minds to believe in a God who believes

in them. How wonderful and faithful God is,

and we pray that our prayer and vision will

always mirror this to the youth we serve.

Now when this teen comes in for lunch, he

will always say to us, so did you pray for me,

and of course, we say YES. Thank you for

being a part of reaching youth who need to

know our faithful God! Hope H, Chpt. Mgr.
