if you request an invoice without authority you may be personally liable for the course costs.

if your organisation uses purchase orders you should provide this with your invoice request.

Before requesting an invoice to Macmillan you should provide us with evidence of your grant.

2.Cancellations:Unlessotherwisestatedforspecific courses, the following policy will be applied:

Cancellations made up to 28 days before a course will be charged a 10% administrative fee.

Cancellations made between 28-14 days 25% of the course fee will be charged. No refunds will be given for cancellations made 14 days or less before a course.

For non attendance no refund will be made.

No refund will be given if you need to be absent for part of a course.

Music therapists, music therapy students, community musicians and other practitioners who use music in therapeutic or interactive ways.

AbOUT ThIS COURSE

Songwriting is a powerful therapeutic intervention which can help people express andunderstandthemselvesatchallengingordifficulttimes.Thisworkshopexplorestheimportanceofsongwritinganditssignificantplaceincurrenttherapeuticpractice.drawing on established therapeutic models it focuses on developing practical skills and techniques that can be applied in a wide range of contexts and genres.

AbOUT ThE FACILITATOR

Bob Heath was the resident music therapist at Sobell House for over 10 years. He has worked extensively in Palliative and Bereavement care both as a clinician and a lecturer/teacher. He has published work in various books and journals and continues to practice as a therapist in End of Life care and in Community Mental Health settings.

Bob has presented his work at a wide range of events including The Hay Literature Festival and Medicine unboxed and continues to offer and develop a range of training courses for therapists and health care practitioners.
