Erik Calissendorff started as ETO on the largest super yachts in the industry 2002. With a passion for technology Erik’s mission on board was to give the owners and the crew the best possible entertainment experience.
After years of searching without finding any suitable solution, Erik decided to do it himself. With over a decade of industry experience and a M.Sc. in IT he founded Plejd AB in 2009 and together with a competent and passionate team of engineers set out to change the industry.
Without the baggage of legacy systems we could start fresh and create a new breed of control systems.

Entertainment and control system integration
A system is only as good as its individual parts and design. With our highly skilled team of M.Sc. engineers and decade of industry experience we have put together a portfolio to match all of your entertainment and control system needs.
A system loved by both guests and crew
The reliability of most systems today is directly linked to the skill of the programmer used. Not only does this reliance on individual programmers create quality uncertainties but it’s very hard to test a complex system especially at the end of projects already pressed for time. This results in problems found later on which overall creates unstable and costly systems.
The Plejd system has a unique intelligence that in real-time calculates and executes all commands within the system. This means that almost everything that the programmer before did manually the Plejd system does automatically. Furthermore almost all adjustments and administration is handled directly in the user interfaces enabling crew to easily manage the system themselves. With Plejd anyone becomes an expert programmer.
Gone is the reliance on individual programmers, quality is consistently good and with most administration and adjustments handled directly by the crew running costs are kept to a minimum. Overall guests and crew can enjoy a stable system.

Our unique Location services utilizes the latest iBeacon and Wi-Fi indoor positioning technology to accurately locate all control devices e.g. iPads, iPhones etc.

PLEJDSERVERThe Plejd Server is the heart of the system and runs on either a 1U rack mounted Mac Mini or on the MTN Maestro Platform.
ADAPTERSDevices not directly controllable via the network e.g. RS232, IR, Relay etc. simple and small network adapters are used.
COMMUNICATIONThe Plejd Server communicates with all devices over the network.
