The Danger of overload or from Non-approved source
Melted cables and switches.
Probably due to arching (sparks jump across another cables when cables are loosely tighten )
A 3 pin plug without an authorized APPROVED label.
After using for sometime, one of the “leg” melted from its holder and stuck in the socket outlet.
In this case, it is a LIVE leg which means when you touches it, you may get electrocuted.

Connecting a 3-pin fuse plug
Remove the outer sheath and threads from the core cable
A good and correct cables connection which sits into the sleeve fully
A poor and dangerous connection with loose strains of copper wire and an exposed naked cables. This may caused sparking , melting of insulation and fire hazard

Choosing a 3-pin fuse plug and cable size
1. There are 2 types of 3- pin plug2. The 13 Amp (Ampere) fuse plug comes with rectangular pins for domestic use3. The 15A fuse plug comes with rounded puns – mainly use for air-condition unit
or water heater
Select a plug with PUB/PSB APPROVED label on it
Generally, from a 230 Voltage supply source and using a 3-core cable; the colour code is:
Brown : Phase (LIVE)Blue : NeutralGreen-Yellow : Protective (Earth)
Note different STRAINS of copper wires for different load
A 40 strains wires is meant for equipments like, iron, boiler, heater, kettle etc
A lesser strains cables is use for lesser electrical consumption equipments, such as radio, computer screen, home printer, compact disc player and such likes.
