One presentation will describe TheStandard for Programme Mana-gement and another presentation willdescribe The Standard for PortfolioManagement. Both presentations willexplain the respective Programme orPortfolio Processes Groups and con-stituent Processes. Spotlight on The Galileo Panel

The European Galileo project will pro-vide the first satellite positioning andnavigation system specifically for civilpurposes, with a constellation of 30satellites covering the Earth's entiresurface. Galileo is a joint venture of theEuropean Commission, the GalileoJoint Undertaking and a European pri-vate consortium. Representatives ofthese bodies will present and discussin this panel session how the projectwas conceived, negotiated and how itis being implemented. Join this inter-active session and learn about thespecific features of an EU-fundedproject and how project managementis applied in this field.

Double Sessions

This year’s congress will offer partici-pants the opportunity to attend a num-ber of interactive double sessions,where specific topics will be coveredin depth.

A Workshop: OPM3® ProductSuite -Raising OPM3® to a Whole New Level

Organisational Project Management isthe systematic management of projects,programmes and portfolios in alignmentwith the achievement of an organisa-tion’s strategic goals. The degree towhich an organisation practises thistype of project management is referredto as Organisational Project Manage-ment Maturity.

In March 2006 PMI will launch OPM3®
