THE SUPER SLENDA WEIGHTLOSS WAY

Super Slenda weight loss products are most effective when used with a portion controlled diet. To assist

and ensure a successful experience on the Super Slenda weight loss journey, we have developed an

Eating Plan and provided a Healthy Food Choice List.

The eating plan is based on a 5:2 Fasting Day approach whereby it is recommended that you fast for 2

days consecutively. Fasting is defined as the abstinence from all or some foods or drinks for a set period

of time. It does not mean you do not eat but rather limits your Kilojoule intake to 2000 kilojoules per

day. Thereafter for the balance of the week of 5 days you can eat up to 5000 Kilojoules per day.

There are many articles backed up by science that claim a number of health benefits of fasting. Listed below are a few that you may find to be of interest.

THE SUPER SLENDA EATING PLAN

The Super Slenda Eating Plan outlined below, has been developed to give structure to your week and help you with healthy food choices and in so doing, assist and aid weight loss.

The 2-day fasting programme will kick-start you into the week for optimum weight loss results.

It is recommended that you stick to the plan for at least the first week, where after you can substitute

the lunch and supper meal plan with other food choices of a similar nature to give you variety from

Wednesday to Saturday, but you must not exceed your daily Kilojoules Intake.

Remember - to drink 2 Litres of water a day (3 x 750 ml of water per day or 4 x 500 ml of water). Water intake is vital as it aids the body in ridding toxins and the breakdown of fat cells. In addition to this you can drink as much black coffee or tea as you like and/or coke/sprite zero beverages. NO sugar at all. If you must sweeten, use artificial sweeteners of your choice. If you are not achieving the desired weight loss, then cut out the fruit additions to the Slim Shake and enjoy the Slim Shake on its own. Also consider reducing your carb intake and increasing more salads and vegetables or substituting a lunch with the celery cabbage soup or traditional green salad and boiled eggs and or tinned tuna. Avoid alcohol otherwise limit yourself to 1 glass of wine or spritzer (wine with soda water) per day or 1 gin and sugar free tonic with lemon or whiskey and soda water/water.

THE SALAD AND SOUP RECIPE ON OUR EATING PLAN

CABBAGE SALAD

Ingredients:

• 1 large red cabbage

• 4 Onions

• 1 pkt 2 minute noodles (oriental flavour)

• 1/3 cup toasted shaved almonds

• 1/3 cup toasted seed mix (sunflower seed,

sesame seed, pumpkin seed)

• 2 or 3 onions (optional)

• 1 or 2 cups Balsamic Vinegar

• Sweetner

• ½ or 1 cup Olive Oil

Instructions

Slice, dice red cabbage and onions and mix with shaved almonds and seed mix. Roast 2 min noodles until

lightly brown in oven at 180 deg. for 10 min. Sprinkle the 2 minute noodles once cool to cabbage mix.

Prepare salad dressing by adding 1 or 2 parts Balsamic Vinegar to ½ or 1 cup of Olive oil. Shake and mix.

Add Sweetner to taste.

Store salad and dressing separately in the fridge until ready to serve. Drizzle salad dressing over before

serving.

CABBAGE SOUP

Ingredients:

• 4 large yellow or white onions • 2 garlic cloves

(garlic lovers: add an extra 1 or 2 cloves!) • 2 green peppers • 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole) • 6 carrots • 1 punnet fresh mushrooms • 1 bunch of celery • 1 whole cabbage • 2 beef stock • 12 cups of water

Instructions: Slice or dice onions and mushrooms, celery and cabbage as well as green peppers, grate the carrots and garlic and put in a very large pot. Add 2 beef stock 12 cups of water and the 2 cans of diced or whole tomatoes.

Cook on slow heat until done and blend in a blender for a smooth texture or eat as is. Add salt and Pepper to taste.
