Lisa Laird and her friends at Pockets Full of Fun are eager to help you in planning your entertainment for family and children's programming at your church, school, library or daycare. The goal of a Pockets Full of Fun program is to entertain, encourage, and educate. Pockets Full of Fun is ideal entertainment for:

Lisa’s Background Lisa Laird, her husband Alan and their two sons, Matthew and Daniel, have been using puppets to teach and entertain at their local church and in other churches since the year 2000. Lisa branched out into ventriloquism in 2005 to use the benefits of puppetry in her preschool classroom. She started her training with the Maher Ventriloquism course. Lisa has been continuing to learn how to improve her skills through the Ventriloquist in Training program offered through One Way Street. She is currently studying level three - Professional Elite. As part of her training she is required to compete and has earned four Gold awards thus far. Lisa was chosen to be on the One Way Street Ventriloquist Dream Team and performed with a team of five ventriloquists at I-Fest the summer of 2008. Lisa has also received private training from Stephen Knowles and Ken Groves in February 2009. In September of 2010 Lisa had private training with Mark Wade who is America's #1 children's ventriloquist. Lisa "retired" from teaching in 2008 to travel full-time as a children's entertainer with her cast of characters of Pockets Full of Fun. Lisa is listed in the Iowa Arts Council Artist Directory.
