Edit Pages - Thesepagesshowallparametersavailable to tweakforaprocessingBlockorSystem&I/Opage.FromtheSignalFlowView,youcandoublepressENTERtoaccessaneditpageforthecurrentselectionBlock.SeetheAdvancedGuideavailableonlineformoreinformation.

3. Presets Knob / Set Lists Button - Turnthisknobtoselectthroughallstoredpresets.PresetsaresavedingroupscalledSet Lists makingiteasytokeepdifferentpresetsgroupedforspecificapplications.ToloadanewSet List,presstheSet Listsbuttonandusethe4 Way NavtohighlightaSet List thenpressENTERtoloadit.PressSAVE torenamethehighlightedSet List.

DoublepressENTER to re-order thepresets storedwithin theSet List. NOTE:Afterre-orderingpresetsyoumustpresstheSet Lists buttoninordertosaveanychanges.

4. Save Button - Pressthisbuttontosavechangestoafactorypresetoryourveryowncustomcreations–everypresetlocationisavailableto be overwritten. Use theMulti-Function knobs to rename thepresetandselect theSet Listandpreset location.Press theSAVE buttonagaintocompletethesaveoperation.Pressanyotherbuttontocancel.

5. View Button - Press this button to switch fromany of the 3 userselectableHome Pageviews–Signal Flow View, Big User View, orPerformance View.PressandholdtheVIEWbuttontoaccesstheSYSTEM & I/O editpageswhereyoucanassigntheDisplaycontrast,configureinputs/outputsandassignthecontrolbehaviorofFBVMKIIcontrollerfootswitches.

6. 4 Way Nav Pad - UsedtomoveandselectthroughoptionswithinthePODHDProXDisplay.Pressthepadleft,right,up,anddowntohighlight itemsintheDisplay. Thispadisalsousedtonavigatethroughmultiplepages.

7. Move Button - Pressthistoperformvariousmovefunctions.FromtheSignal Flow Viewyoucanusethe4 Way Navtohighlightitemsinthesignalchain.PressingtheMOVEButtonallowsyouto“grab”thatitemandmoveitelsewhereinthesignalpathbyusingthe4 Way Nav. PresstheMOVEButtonagainto“drop”theitemintoitsnewposition.FromtheSet ListpageyoucanusetheMOVEbuttontorepositionpresetstoanewSetListormemorylocation.Double-presstheMOVEbuttontoassignacontrollertoanyFXBlockparameter.Note:TheLooperandAmpModelshavesomeconditionalbehaviorsregardingtheirplacementinthesignalflow.SeetheAdvancedUserGuidefordetails.

8. Enter (ON/OFF) Button – While inSignal Flow View, press thisbuttontoturnAmporFXBlocksonoroff.Double-pressENTER toaccessdeepeditpages.Deepeditpagesdisplayalloftheeditableparameters associatedwith the highlightedBlock. HoldENTER tobringfocustoFoot Switch Assign mode.TheENTERbuttonisalsousedtoloadSet Listsandpresets.

9. Multi-Function Knobs – These four knobs provide controls forvarious functionality depending on the display’s current focus.Generally speaking, the knobs will control parameters displayed inthelowerquarterofthemaindisplayasfollows:Knob 1controlstheupperleftparameter,Knob 2controlsthelowerleftparameter,Knob 3 controlstheupperrightparameter,andKnob 4controlsthelowerrightparameter.PleaserefertotheAdvancedUserGuideformoredetail.

10. Drive - DRIVE is like thegainknobonmostamps;controllinghowmuch“dirt”ordistortionyougetinthesound.PODHDProXcanrunuptotwoampsatoncesomakesureyouselecttheampyouwanttobeadjustingwiththeampcontrol(viatheCTL:Ampparameter)beforeturningtheDRIVEknob.

11. Tone Controls - BASS, MID, TREBLEandPRESENCEcontrolsarecustomized for each Amp Model to provide optimal tonal control.Whenyouturnanyof theseknobs, thedisplaywillbrieflyshowthecurrentsettingsof theDRIVE, BASS, MID, TREBLEandPRESENCE knobs.Remember,whenrunningtwoampstobesuretoselecttheampyouwanttoadjustbeforeturningtheseknobs.

12. Volume Knob - Thisadjuststheoutput levelofyourselectedAmpModelwithoutaffectingitstoneordistortioncharacteristics.

13. Master Volume Knob - ThiscontrolstheoveralloutputlevelofPODHD Pro X, including the headphone level. Changing the MASTER VOLUMEleveldoesnotchangeyourtone,soyoucangetthetoneyouwantatanyvolumelevel.ThissettingisglobalandisnotsavedwhenyoustoresettingsintothePODHDProXmemorylocations.Note: Ifyourexternalgearhasmic/line level inputs,set the trim forthoseinputstotheminimumlevelandslowlybringthePODHDProXMASTER VOLUMEtomaximum-thensetthelevelofyourexternalgeartotaste.Thisapproachwillhelpgetthebestsignal-to-noiseratio.ThereisalsoaswitchwhichallowsyoutosetthelineoutputstoAMP (instrument)orLINE LEVEL. It is recommended that you start with the MASTER VOLUME controlsettominimumandslowlyturnthecontrolclockwisetowardsmaximumbeforeanyaudioclipping(thebadkindofdistortion)occurs.

14. Tap Tempo - PressingtheTAPbuttonafewtimessetsthetempoofallFXwiththeTAPfeatureassignedtothem.Mosttime-basedFXinPODHDcanhavetheTAPsettingaffectparameterssettoaspecificnotevalue.PressandholdTAPtoenterTuner Mode.Nowyou'vegotafancychromatictunerinyourDisplay.

15. Guitar In - Plugyourguitarcableinhere.IfyouareusinghighgainoractivepickupsyoumaywanttopushthePADbuttononyourPODHDProX.There'sreallynorule,usewhatsoundsbest.

16. Mic Input - Pluginyourmicrophonehereandusethemiclevelknobabovetheinputtogetanice,healthylevel.TheSIGNALLEDindicatesaninputsignal.ReducethemicleveliftheCLIPLEDiluminates.VisittheSYSTEM & I/O editpagestochoosetheMicasaninputsourceforyourtone.Whenengaged,thethreebuttonstotherightoryourmicinputworkasfollows:

- High Pass Filter provides an 12dB per octave attenuationbelow75Hz.Use to eliminate low-frequency roomnoise or reducemicrophoneproximityeffects.-20 -Reducesinputgainby20dB.48V -Supplies48Vtomicrophonesrequiringphantompower.

17. Phones - Plugheadphonesinhere.ThevolumeissetbytheMASTER VOLUMEknob.Alwaysusesafelisteningpractices,startingwithalowlevelandturningupfromthereifyouneedmorevolume.

• Noadditional cables are required to connect aPODHD to aDT50seriesguitaramplifier.

• ChangingTonesettings(forexample)oneitherthePODHDorDT50immediatelyupdatesyourtone.

• EditapresetonaPODHDbysimplyturningknobsontheDT50asonewouldanyotherguitaramp,thensaveitonthePODHDtoperfectlyrecalleverytimethepresetisselected.

• This one is crazy cool! Calling up a particular Amp Modelor preset on the POD HD enables the DT50 to dynamicallyreconfigureitselfintheanalogrealmtooptimizeitscomponentstomatchthesourceamplifier.ChangeyourpresetonaPODHD,andtheDT50willimmediatelyalignitselfintheanalogrealmtosuchthingsastheappropriateClassAorA/Boperation,Biasingmethod, Feedback topology, Triode/Pentode operation of thepowertubesandmore!

• Automaticsensingallows linkedmultiple (daisychained)ampstooperateinavarietyofways,dependingonwhichPODHDisconnected.Atminimum,allPODHDssupportstereooperationwith linked DT50s, and POD HD Pro X supports up to fouruniquelylinkedampswithconfigurationslikewet/drymodeeasilyavailable.
