• Essentially a radio show

• Distributed over the internet

• Not live – listen whenever you want

2 main ways

• as a way to deliver content to your students. – Think of a podcast as a lesson to take away:

• as a means to showcase your students’ work. – Students recording podcasts as assignments

or class tasks

Local, National, International news

Discuss topics that are taking place and how it relates to them or their studies

Audio books – record for themselves or for younger readers

Instructional guides – students create for each other. Or teacher produces to guide them.

Interviews

Interview members of staff, students, members of the community, and visitors to school.

Pupil Voices

Revision

Audio versions of lesson notes – important points and information. Student or teacher-created.
