Think you know Belfast?This summer, join us aswe take a holiday athome, and uncover thehidden histories of thecity, with a cast ofmerchants, players,scoundrels, sailors,jesters, poets andrevolutionaries.

Architecture and heritage come tolife in our specially-commissionedperformances, themed around thethree new city trails – LaganMaritime, Titanic and City ofMerchants. The city’s writers andpoets take to the streets to dobattle for your hearts, our streetphotographer will take your portraitas you watch the tango dancers onRoyal Avenue, and classic filmadorns the big screen at City Hall.

In thisarchitectural expedition with adifference, Daniel Jewesburypresents some of the sculptedheads on Belfast’s historicbuildings and listens for the storythey tell us of our mercantileheritage.

Thrivingunderground scenes and subcultures, odd traditions, myths andurban legends will come to lifealong the way... a city of merchants,players, scoundrels, smugglers,dancers and revolutionaries.
