CHAPTER 1: POLAND

We visited Krakow- which was also the place where Laura,

the hero of the book, got lost.

Workshops During Polish workshops we had a lesson of professional calligraphy so that we could

write the first hand-written chapter ornamented with artistic letters.

CHAPTER 2: GERMANY

...The group tries to find Laura…

Germany welcomed the other

countries and the first chapter was

presented.

The students were guided through the

school and the winter greeted the guests.

The city Essen was explored and

the most important sights like the

Zeche Zollverein and Villa Hùgel

were visited. In our freetime, the

whole group were iceskating and

because of the snow… we did a

snowballfight all together.

We enjoyed the time by sitting all

together and eating the meals and

snacks during the breaks.

The subject of chapter 2 were sports and

games and comics was the technique we

used to visualize the chapter.

In the end, we prepared the chapter in

the form of coloured comics.

CHAPTER 3: ENGLAND

CHAPTER 4: TURKEY

On the first day of our meeting we played music together, visited Topkapı Palace . . . a n d

f i n a l l y h a d t h e w e l c o m e d i n n e r a l l t o g e t h e r .

On the second and third day we had workshops: we were busy with making the video, chosing the photos and writing the story.

Last day we had breakfast during a lovely boat trip and we all got certificates.

In the evening the teachers had the farewell dinner.

For telling the story we made a silent movie in black and white.

The story began with arrival of some friends at the Topkapı Palace in Turkey w i t h w i t c h e s '

...the Latvian girl realized that a thief wanted to steal the Kaşıkç ı d i a m o n d a n d s h e t o l d t h e

o t h e r s h e r p l a n s . . .

...the Turkish boy said that there was a national magical instrument called Darbuka which makes the others dancing if you play it and they decided to play it to catch the thief...

...the thief cut off the wire of the alarm. The lithuanian boy started playing the Darbuka while the others plugged their ears...

...they caught the thief and the mentor gave them a book with Laura's message: a question

and the respond was the place where they had to go: Liepaja, Latvia.

CHAPTER 5: LATVIA

On the first day we presented our

homework and made a tour around the

school.

One of the activities we were engaged

in while staying in Latvia.

At the same time the Turkish boy

Volkan Aydin surprised us by

performing a song with Evaldas

Snukiškis.

Opening ceremony started with presenting our

Lithuanian folk music and a performance of the

dance ensemble.

Then we had a sightseeing tour around the Old

Town. We visited the Ship Meridianas, the Trading

Bridge, the Arch, the meteorological column and

the Castle Bridge. 23

The dolphins’ show at the

Dolphinarium in Klaipeda.

After the exhausting day we are enjoying

traditional Lithuanian dinner and dances at

the Lithuanian restaurant.

CHAPTER 9: ITALY

We finally find Laura...

Meeting in Crotone, Italy

Working hard on the last chapter. Laura must be found!!!

We landed in Crotone where we had a very warm welcome.
