Police Warn of Burglaries on Far Northwest Side
CHICAGO -- Police are warning residents in Jefferson Park and Norwood Park East of a spate ofrecent home burglaries that have taken place this month.
In the burglaries, suspects enter homes through windows and doors, stealing electronics, jewelry,cash and other items.
The incidents have occurred in the:
o 5800 block of West Eastwood Avenue on Feb. 8 or 9 between 12:01 a.m. and 11 a.m.;
o 5600 block of West Eastwood Avenue on Feb. 12 between 12:40 p.m and 2:50 p.m.;
o 5700 block of North Manton Avenue on Feb. 13 between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m;
o 5900 block of North Nagle Avenue on Feb. 18 between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
