Some thoughts about Careers

• A career is a journey not a destination– Expect high mobility in the immediate 3 to 4 years after

graduation

• You will need to make many turns and overcome many obstacles to create the path you desire– The 'perfect' career does not exist

• When you come to a roadblock take a detour – If what you start with is not what you want, you will still

develop useful skills, useful in other areas

• A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step– Make some sort of decision, however imperfect
