Lodz is a good place for those who do not like to sit in one place and like to have fun! Lodz, especially the most famous Piotrkowska Street is famous for its non-stop nightlife.

The whole street is lined with restaurants, pubs, bars and night clubs. So if you do not want to sit in one club you can go to another.

Clubs offer different kinds of music so everyone can find something.

In some of the night clubs the music is played by professional DJs. It depends on a day of the week.

Lodz Kaliska - one of the leaders in the entertainment venues of Lodz, is also

regarded as the most avangarde pub in Poland.

Lodz Kaliska is a place created by people from the artistic group "Łódź Kaliska".

Their art pieces fill three floors in a tenement house in the Piotrkowska street. On every stage there are different kinds of music, different atmosphere and an every stage you can meet people with different

outlook for life. Their nothing is enough real to believe it - enough after a couple of

drinks. If you meet David Lynch in the toilet you don't be surprised, unless you are in the part for ladies. Remember! if you want feel the atmosphere of a real artistic awangarde

take the table on the ground floor.

Bagdad Cafe - one of the oldest pubs in Lodz. With almost absolute certainty one of the more climatic and tolerance place in Lodz, a

must on the entertainment programme of Lodz. It' s placed in historical Stiller house, which was a factory.

First it was a jazz club, now is the place where you can listen to house music, funky, reggae, funk, break beat, electro ect.

You can also see there exhibitions by student's from Academy of Art from Lodz.

Important: the owners of the Bagdad Cafe are very tolerant but don't try play their piano if you can't!!!

is a place which promotes the well-known musicians as well as

brand new talents. It Gives young artists the opportunity to display
