POLYAIRE FLEXIBLE DUCT

When selecting duct ensure you choose the correct thermal rating for your application and that the construction will provide for smooth quite airflow and a long trouble free life. Polyaire duct is manufactured using a Mylar inner core encasing wound spring steel which maintains the integrity of the duct.

The smooth internal surface minimizes noise levels and maximises your systems performance by ensuring smooth unrestricted air flow. The insulation used in Polyaire ducts is specially developed polyester which contains no harmful glass fibres, and more importantly will not support bacterial or fungal growth.

Polyaire duct is available in a range of specifications and is manufactured to suit different applications. Your local Polyaire branch staff or installation contractor will be able to assist you with the selection of what rating is the most appropriate for your needs.

FIREBREAK GREEN - Premium R1.5 Insulated Flexible DuctFirebreak Green with its 1.5 thermal rating is the premium choice for your next air conditioning system.

So why is it the premium choice?

Firstly the thermal qualities that give the duct its R rating provide much better performance for your air conditioning system. This means:

• Significantly reduced heat loss/gain. The thicker insulation surrounding the core of the duct limits the amount of heat or cold that can penetrate the duct or escape from it.

• Better heat transference into each room being conditioned. With the temperature of the air in the duct not being effected by loss or gain because of the insulation, the heating and cooling being delivered to each room is consistent

• Reduced running costs. As there is consistent temperature of the air through the duct, the load on the air conditioning unit is reduced because it does not have to work as hard to accommodate temperature variances & a reduced load means lower running costs.

• Universal application. Can be used for most heating and cooling systems alike.

DROP-X The DROP-X is an all plastic system incorporating the dropper, flashing and air distributor

• Fits most current domestic evaporative coolers

• UV stabilised Polymer will not rust

• Airflow Splitter incorporates Zip Tie duct connection

• Easy to install

METAL DROPPER Available in Galvanised or Colour bond finishes.

Flashing kits are available to suit tile or Colour bond roof installations.

All metal droppers should be installed with a Superflow air directing insert.

DROPPERS There are two options when it comes to evaporative cooler droppers, the DROP-X or traditional metal droppers

MULTI DIRECTIONAL OUTLETS (MDO-X) ADJUSTABLEThe MDO-X was developed by Polyaire to provide an unobtrusive square outlet of modern design to suit all air conditioning installations.

They feature:

• Completely flush louvre blades - even when fully open.

• Fully adjustable louvres designed to hold position even under high air flows

• Lightly etched finish to reduce reflection.

• Softer round design with wider flanges and filleted corners which provide a less intrusive and more contemporary appearance.

• Unique design snap in biscuits giving less likelihood of dislodging when cleaning or adjusting.

SECURITY RELIEF VENT A security relief vent allows you to run your air conditioner at low speeds without the need to open windows and doors. Instead of the air escaping through the windows and doors it is ventilated into the ceiling cavity.

This not only provides the benefit of running the cooler with your home fully secured but also pushes the cooled air into your ceiling cavity reducing the temperature in the ceiling which in turn contributes to reducing the amount of heat radiated into the living areas.

The outer surface is coated with a closed cell urethane foam insulation to provide optimum thermal qualities.

They are suitable for all ducted installations and won’t warp or deteriorate over time.
