Ananya.S.Nadig of III ‘A’ and Khushi.L.R. of VI ‘A’ has been honoured with ‘International Talent Award’ in singing on the occasion of Swamy Vivekananda Vishwa Prakruthi Yoga Foundation’s 29th Anniversary and Swamy Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary.

CHAITHANYA ARTS ACADEMY ®, MAHALAKSHMIPURAM, BENGALURU-86 State Level Cultural Fest and Competitions –2018 Moksha.C of I A, Trisha.C and Sanjana.B.M. of V B participated in sub junior / junior category and received Appreciation certificates.

CLASSMATE SPELL BEE Classmate Spell Bee was held for classes V, VI and VII on 12-01-2018 in the school. Selected candidates will be invited for the final round to Radio Mirchi. .

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA ’ S BIRTH ANNIVERSARY [ NATIONAL YOUTH DAY]

Shri Abhayananda Swamiji, addressed the students of Std. V, VI & VII on 13-01-2018 about the teaching of Swami Vivekananda, the social reformer, philosopher and great thinker in a hope to impart moral values and enlightenment in the minds of the young.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS 69th Republic Day was celebrated with reverence in high school premises. Chief Guest Wg.Cdr.V.Shiv Kumar unfurled the national flag and addressed the gathering about the strong defence system of India. A spectacular colourful display by girls, pyramid formation by boys, Band, Patriotic Song, Speech in kannada were part of the programme from primary section. .

KINDERACT Old usable clothes and toys were donated to GOOD NEIGHBOURS INDIA on 12-01-2018.

The office bearers of Kinderact Club attended the Rotary Valedictory Function held at Rotary Eye Hospital on 21st January 2018 with the co-coordinator Mrs. Veena.R. Sanjaya.C.Reddy of VII A- Secretary and Gowri Ashok of VII B - Director , gave a power point presentation of the Annual Report 2017-18. The school received ‘Best Kinderact Club Report’ award for the activities held during 2017-18

ANNUAL QUIZ As an event of Literary competitions Annual Quiz was conducted in all faculties of study on 19-01-2018.

MAKARA SANKRANTHI Makara Sankranthi was celebrated on 12-01-2018.

KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP –2018 17th Karnataka State Level Taekwondo (ITF) Championship. Vihan Nandodkar of IV ‘A’ received bronze medal in 38 - 42 KGS weight category.

Vishwas .K.N. of VI ‘A’ and Samiksha .N of VI ‘B’ participated in WORLD FUNAKOSHI SHOTOKAN KARATE KARNATAKA CHAMPIONSHIP held at Bangalore on 24th December 2017 as contestants in Kata / Kumitte and were awarded first place.

5th WESKO SOUTH INDIA OPEN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP organised by World Funakoshi Shokatan Karate Organisation - Karnataka, South India . Swaroop V ’B’ and Suhas.S of V‘B’ participated in Individual Kata event on 21st January and were awarded first place.

SCHOOL PICNIC Standard I and II went to WOODS RESORT , Kanakapura and Standard III and IV to DREAMLAND RESORT, Nelamangala on 20-01-2018.

MARTYR ’ S DAY ( 30-01-2018 ) To pay homage to the victims who fought for the freedom, welfare and progress of our country and sacrificed their lives, students and teachers observed 2 minutes silence at 11.00 a.m.
