Adult coloring is all the rage these days. This is no surprise—as busy as our lives are in the 21st century, we are all looking for
healthy ways to relax, slow down and connect with our creativity. The calming and therapeutic qualities that coloring has on
children is the same for adults. And yes teachers count as adults even if our students might think otherwise!

Beginner Pop Art Coloring PagesThere are 2 pattern filled pop art coloring pages included. This will give you a feel for how these coloring sheets could look. These two sheets are a nice place to start to give you the confidence to tackle the two advanced interactive pages included. These beginner pages provide you the opportunity to play with colors to produce your own desired look. Pop Art and bright, primary colors go hand-in-hand but they are not a requirement. Experiment with color schemes and combinations that appeal to you.
Interactive Pop Art Coloring PagesThese pages are different from most other coloring sheets you’ve ever used before because you get the chance to engage and interact with them. Unlike most coloring sheets where all you have to do is color them in, these interactive sheets allow you to be the designer. On the bottom of each interactive coloring sheet there are five boxes with suggested patterns, designs and/or textures to include in your image. Challenge yourself to incorporate these ideas into your design but don’t feel that you are limited to just these ideas. On some pages there is a “doodle” box. There’s no signature like your individual doodles, so consider this an invitation to add your own designs to those pages.
TipsSometimes it’s nice to have areas of solid colors woven throughout, but there are no rules that say you have to. When you color your pages experiment with different art materials. Use crayons, colored pencils or markers. Splurge on some nice art materials or stick with basic pens and pencils you already have around the house. This is about you and your creativity. There are no rules (we’ve got plenty of those in our lives) just fun, experimental, relaxing creativity.
Relax and ColorKeep this book with you and doodle while on the phone; color while at the doctor’s office; or sit down at home in a comfy spot with some music playing and design, create and color. These Pop Art coloring sheets are an opportunity to allow you to relax and be creative at the same time. You’ll probably find that others are intrigued by what you are up to; perhaps your child will ask to join in the fun. What a great way to spend time alone or with your family.

Interactive Coloring Sheets: How-To
3. Cut out the large rectangle at the top with the finished work if you would like to get rid of the boxes at the bottom.
1. Using the patterns in the five small boxes at the bottom of each page, fill in the different parts of the pictures by drawing in the patterns, designs or textures. Add your own signature doodle to your image! You are the artist of these coloring pages. Let your creative juices flow!
