by the Annual HOPE Appeal help meet the needs of
the parish and diocese. The HOPE Appeal serves all
of us in different ways financial support is needed to
further the good works of the Appeal. You received
a letter from Bishop Cunningham asking for your support of the HOPE
Appeal please be generous with your pledge. We ask that all pledge
forms and gifts be returned to the parish. You can also make a secure
online gift at www.syrdio.org. Your support helps many in our diocese.

Are You Interested in Serving on the Pastoral Council?
On Sunday, June 11th there will be a discernment process at the 10:30
AM Mass to fill the four vacancies on the Pastoral Council. The
terms of Greg Griffin, Larry Messina, Danielle Radel and Andrea
Ciravolo expire in June. Any parishioner interested in serving on the
Pastoral Council is invited to submit their name to Father O’Brien. The
selection of the four new members will take place by lottery as part of
the discernment process at the 10:30 AM Mass on June 11th. The
Council meets monthly except during the summer and the term for each
member is three years. The Council is an important and valuable help in
developing a vision for the parish and consulting on significant
decisions. The parish is grateful to those members for their dedication
and service.
Poverello Health Center
Volunteers Needed!
Poverello Health Center is a small medical center, which provides medi-
cal care for people without insurance, and for those who are unable to
afford medical services. All our medical staff and office assistants are
men and women who volunteer to help us provide such services. At the
present time, we are in need of generous medical physicians, nurse
practitioners, and nurses, who would be willing to volunteer and help
care for our various clients. Some of our physicians, nurse practitioners,
and nurses volunteer on a monthly basis and some every other month.
If you are interested and would like to know more about the Poverello
Health Center and volunteering, please contact Sister James Peter at
(315) 423 - 9961 ext. 344; Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
