Bell-BottomsBell-bottoms were fashioned after naval uniformsbellbottoms became the fashion statement of the bohemian sector of young society in the late 1960's. They also became a prominent symbol of the wildly stylish 1970's. Made of denim, the popularity of the pants was enormous, however, they were unavailable in many parts of the country where they were seen as too much of a fashion statement.

TIE-DYE T-SHIRTS

The origins of Tie-dye T-shirts are believed to have begun in Nigeria where women would tie cotton fabrics into knots and then dip them into dyes

Popularity of the Tie-Dye T-shirt took off in the 1960s during the hippie/peace movement.

Troll Dolls were the second largest selling doll in the U.S. during the 60s.

Another name for the doll was the Dammit Doll in honor of creator Thomas Dam.

Barbie Dolls

In the first year on the market, 351,000 dolls were sold
