FIRST PLANT

CROSS SECTION LONG PIECE

Next to the transport museum, must be placed the firestation, into the same large square. Thats the reason we have to sepa-rate the pedestrian walk of visitors to the museum, from the fire-cars emergency movement, so do not cross the diferent pro-grams. A fence made of metallic elements is responsible for separating the diferent needs of both buildings.Firestation is composed of 3 blocks, each one with diferent pri-vacy (Public - Semipublic - Private) so you have an exhibition room, conference room as public, offices as semipublic and the long piece as private with bedrooms and diferent facilities so that the firemen can live, work and practice over there. Big glass space and a courtyard are placed in the middle of the building to give breathe to the whole program, and invites you to gogo inside. The fourth piece is the tower of practice, where fire-men can simulate a fire by climbing or going upstairs, so it is the tallest piece of the project.
