We are very low on space available for storing files
We are unable to increase storage on our current hardware
We are purchasing equipment needed to connect to SAN Storage
WebFile Manager – Best Practices
Web File Manager should not be used to archive files no longer linked on the site – that should be done on agency network drives
If you remove a link to a file, remember to go and delete the file
Routinely run an orphan file report and remove them from the File Manager (we are still working on getting a functioning orphan report tool)
WebFile Manager – Videos
Video Size No bigger than 50 MB Contact PMG for options
Don’t ever upload a video that is not from a trusted source
Must be Work Related Acceptable Use of State Systems Policy
