Spacial Sequence

The Spacial Sequence model was a project intended to understand the Spacial Organizations and Spacial Relationships of a project in 3 dimension. Taking the plans from a building and modeling it with Walnut wood (Adjacent spaces), Acrylic (Public Spaces), and Basswood (circulation). 12

Skins & Bodies

This project was about understanding complex surfaces, the eciency of a few moves on a curve, and the aect those moves have on the volume. 20

Page 14: Portfolio (3/3)

I began with a curve that we could manipulate, using the control vertasies, into the desired shape. I then mirrored and iped the curve.

I then took those curves and lofted to get a surface between them. This surface is what I would replicate to make the four sides of my volume.21

Page 15: Portfolio (3/3)

After I replicated the surface I arranged them into create an interesting form, and lofted the spaces between them. I took that form and elongated it to give it a more elegant proportion,.

Vertically orient tile. Multply and allign. Rotate middle plans clockwise and allign so that base is 4” squared

Loft plains between tiles, and cap solid.
