NW Natural

NW Natural

hired Bolt to develop

activation strategies

that would improve

brand engagement

at their sponsored

events. We have

provided a variety

of services, from

the development of

an interactive iPad

app, to designing

and producing street

decals for outdoor

home shows, to

designing expo booths

and print graphics.

Bolt has helped

improve NW Natural’s

return on investment

(ROI) for their

sponsored events by

employing creative and

effective experiential

marketing tactics and

reporting consumer

metrics back to them

following each event.

Eastbay

The Eastbay “Where

Athletes Are” Tour executed

events across the nation for

two and a half years. The 53

foot trailer’s custom interactive

retail experience was a big draw

at events and left consumers

with a great impression of

Eastbay. The Tour delivered

the coolest products, the latest

technology, and experienced

and athletic brand ambassadors

to assist consumers with

product questions. The on-

site experience began with a

registration process where

consumer information was

collected. The consumer had

the opportunity to register with

Facebook and post a photo of

the Eastbay Trailer to their page.

After registration, the consumer

entered one of two photo booths

where their photo was taken

and their user-generated brand

content was posted live to their

Facebook page.

Subaru

When Subaru needs

event staff to execute their

regional events, Bolt is

who they call. Our reliable

brand ambassadors

and event managers

are trained to speak the

Subaru language and

execute flawlessly for the

brand. Our event staff

has helped introduce the

brand new Crosstrek and

other models to Subaru’s

devoted customer base at

mountain and surf events.

UrgentRx

Bolt was tasked

with making a

connection between

UrgentRx and

its athletic, on-

the-go consumer

base. Set-up with

a branded event

kit and product

samples at local

running events, our

UrgentRx-trained

brand ambassadors

introduced the new

products to targeted

consumers during

this summer-long

campaign.

Crocs

Implementing custom retail

displays and seating was one way

Crocs decided to boost their in-

store branding. Bolt designed and

produced custom, affordable seating

and provided the logistical support to

ensure the seats arrived in time for

all of their new store openings. Crocs

custom retail seating evolved from

square to cylindrical and changed

colors to align with their stores’

interior design.

Nike Cross Nationals

Beginning in 2010, Bolt became

the retail partner for Eastbay at their

sponsored Nike Cross Nationals series

of races. We coordinate and execute

the Nike retail operations at these

regional and national cross country

races. Detailed and diligent event

planning is at the crux of this event

series. With events across the nation,

there are logistical challenges that

require attention to detail to ensure

successful execution at each event.

Sun Tropics

One of the best ways

to introduce a new product

is to sample it. That’s what

Bolt did for Sun Tropics, a

natural juice brand making

its debut into the Portland,

OR market. But we didn’t

just set up a table and hand

out 1-oz samples. Instead, we

helped Sun Tropics create

an affordable, branded

event setup that included a

tropical backdrop, umbrella,

and tablecloth.

Nike Football

The Nike Football

Tour brought SPARQ

testing and training

programs to high

school athletes in

football hotbeds

across the nation.

Traveling in custom,

branded marketing

vehicles, our Nike

brand ambassadors

evaluated, compared,

and assessed athletes

with the SPARQ

rating system.

Our staff made

connections with high

school athletes that

last to this day, and

helped weave Nike

into the fabric of the

football culture in

those communities.

Blunck & Walhood, LLC

Every so often,

brands need a little

pep put back in

their step. Blunck

& Walhood came

to Bolt with that in

mind. We started

by creating a new

logo design, then

we revamped

their website, and

designed and placed

a series of ads to

get their updated

brand out in the

market. The designs

and strategies were

fine-tuned with

Blunck & Walhood

at each phase of the

process, and they

have begun to see

the results of having

a refreshed brand.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

Bolt’s brand

ambassador team

introduced consumers

to a variety of new

flavors for Jeni’s

Splendid Ice Creams

through in-store

sampling efforts at

local grocery stores

in the Northwest. Our

brand ambassadors

were trained to share

the rich history of the

ice cream brand as

consumers enjoyed

samples. In-store

sampling often results

in direct sales, and we

did just that for Jeni’s

Splendid Ice Creams.
