ObjectiveDesign and create a 3D model or rendering of a store

fixture that communicates an existing brand of headphone.

Concept Statement The “SOL (Soundtrack of Life) CUBE” is a stage for

self-proclaimed DJs to find their next pair of headphones: Sol Republics. On the SOL CUBE DJ table consumers are invited in by the sleek workspace illuminated by glowing

LED ribbons. Hanging from the uneven bars are pre-built headphones to test sound and fit. These

headphones hook up to the tablets embedded in the table. On these tablets are select playlists put together

by the Saviors of Sound (already provided on their website through Spotify), connecting consumers to the artists they love and admire. On the table are tracks, headbands, and cords that let artists create their own look by putting together colors and styles with the

M A N C A T I O NTake a break from the rat race for some friendly competition.

This is where real men show their physical, mental, and economical self-worth amongst friends - no girls allowed.

This is not a roadtrip to a spa resort your girlfriend booked online. The ideal mancation would be to a handsome lodge in the woods, fully equipped for modern entertaining, with the wilderness surrounding it to the men’s recreational disposal. Hunting, hiking, and drinking are all on the menu and all in good taste.

You’ve worked hard, now it’s time to put your spoils to use.

T H E M A NFlamboyant confidence of style and manner.

Many of Manhattan’s socialites were born and raised in New York’s most established families. For Wells the story is a little different. He grew up in a small town in upstate New York and had big dreams of moving to the city. He worked meticulously throughout high school to secure a spot at one of the top business schools in the country.

As a graduate of NYUs prestigious business program, Wells is a young professional with a bright future ahead of him in marketing for an up and coming high tech company. His passions don’t stop at innovative marketing strategies and testing new technology and gadgets. He loves throwing frisbee with his black lab, Damian, at the park. He also stays in shape by playing on a men’s rugby team with some colleagues and old college buddies.

His athletic build has made it hard for him to find clothes that flatter him as well as show off the body he has played hard to keep healthy. He wonders why a confident bachelor like himself should hide under cookie cutter slacks.

Natalie RadermanAbout the Designer

Thank youThank you for your consideration.

Additional references, work examples, and information are available upon request.

Work experience is the perfect compliment to studying a subject - one should not go without the other. The Professional Practice Program at the University of Cincinnati gave me the ability to put into practice what I learned in school and test my passion and commitment on the field.

Even with the amazing Professional Practice Program at UC, school wouldn’t be school without school. Most graduates from a design college could tell you about the sacrifices that are made to excel in these programs. I believe DAAP’s Interior Design program is notorious in this matter. Missed sleep and social events, time away from familiar faces and loved ones, mistakes and failure that seem world-ending, and blood, sweat and tears are all part of the deal. But the reward is rare and dear. The pride I am able to take in my work after hours of tedious perfecting is incomparable to any other feeling. During school design studios I was able to discover my valuable passion for creative and unique design concepts. The most exciting aspect of projects ranging in many diverse markets was coming up with an original solution to the problem through an extreme concept. My out-of-the-box concepts are easy to apply to every detail of a design because I make sure they are strong and applicable to the subject.

Through numerous diverse experiences, I have been able to pinpoint my passions and strengths. I feel I am more than ready and prepared to find a design firm and commit as well as find my place as an important piece of a strong team of people with a single design goal. I look forward to working hard and being challenged, and to feeling even more passionate about the work when I am at the firm for the long run. I hope to meet these goals with the help of your firm and to add to the firm with my own experiences and perspective.
