A Campus is an ensemble of buildings, landscape, and infrastructure used foreducation, as it exists and as it is planned.

A campus is traditionally the land on which a college or university and relatedinstitutional buildings are situated. Usually a campus includes libraries, lecturehalls, residence halls and park-like settings.

The definition currently describes a collection of buildings that belong to a giveninstitution, either academic or non-academic.A campus is defined as a self contained architecture composition of separation

ABOUT INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ……The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are a group of 16 autonomous engineering andtechnology-oriented institutes of higher education established and declared as Institutes ofNational Importance by the Parliament of India.The IITs were created to train scientists and engineers, with the aim of developing askilled workforce to support the economic and social development of India.Most of the IITs were created in early 1950s and 1960s as the Institutes of National Importancethrough special acts of Indian Parliament. The success of the IITs led to the creation of theIndian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) in the late 1990s and in the 2000s.

Concept for site zoning is derived from the shape of the site and maintaining the radius of

Hence ,To keep the maximum spread of 1km of radius around the academic zone , the residential zones are planned around it.
