Urban and Architecture Design

The matching of the building and the environment should firstly suit the specific circumstance. Combining with the terrain and surface feature and utilizing the natural environment as well.

Design explanation

Yao Haiqu planning area is located in the center. It is known as "three old haunt, the hometown of Bao Zheng," said the eastern part of the city.


Group work in the first semester of master study; Architecture design; Mainly participated: Assistant for design process ,analysis , physical model making process and the whole computer 3D SU model;Cooperating students from different major background… cause of my merit in those filed, I mainly concentrated design, physical and computer 3D model making, which gave me opportunity not only enhance design ability but also good chance for exchanging ideas with the people from different country and different background;

A. Construction location: economic development zone, Hefei city, An hui Province.

B. Design requirements: The design specifications of the hotel

building should meet the materials and high level spiritual needs of the people. The touristic building design is based on the principle-serving the tourists. Thus the design should be implemented considering the modern society’s mentalities. Enabling the people to enjoy the atmosphere created by the design concept.

C. The building should be designed with a ‘3 stars’ standard. Making sure each part of the design meet the requirements.

Economic and technical norms Building density should not be less than 35%. Greening percentage shouldnot be less than 35%. Volume fraction should be less than 2. Parking space should not be less than

Site range and area analysis A. Site range B. area analysis Design concept and explanationThe free access of the entire community. The design of roadway and landscape are of critical importance in this plan. The function rationality of the single component design, the diversity of the molding and the harmony of the materials matching are also equal important. Structure function and spatial modality using the typical ‘axis’ relationship to express the community’s characteristics. The changing of the ‘openness’ and ‘closeness’ facade structure reflects the interior functions of the building respectively.

Due to China's vast, The Chinese classical gardens in various forms in different places, the main districts throughout the classical gardens of the North, Jiang Nan type, the type of Ling Nan, with the exception Of the three major theme of the style, there are Pa Chu garden, garden and other Western Regions;

It reflects, not only the living habits of the people which living there but also theFlourishing historical story along it’s development;It gives me opportunity to understand the content besides the Han Chinese unique History and Culture;
