A trifold brochure on America’s National Parks.Create a two sided folded document with an original logo, at least 250 words of original copy, incorporate quality images and trim for a full-bleed finished product.
I first used Adobe Illustrator to de-sign the Explore logo and placed it in Adobe InDesign where I created my brochure. I divided two pages into six equal panels and designed a unique layout for each panel.

Create a professional and appealing flier with images provided.
I began with drawing four sketches of what the flier could look like. I picked one and designed it in Ado-be InDesign. I made three different designs until I had created one I was satisfied with. I used black bold titles to draw the audience’s atten-tion to them. I placed two of the same gradient bars on the top and bottom of the flier for repetition and to frame the page. I also en-larged key information of the text.

Create an ad for a made up event using only Microsoft Word and a scanner.
I scanned a picture into the com-puter, then used Word to design my ad. I used orange on the side bar to create contrast with the majority of blue in the picture. I emphasized the title of the event with a differ-ent and larger font than the rest of the text below it. I outlined the title with blue to contrast with the or-ange background.
