We screen every asset against a combination of datasets to identify sites that are at risk from a wide range of environmental perils (including contaminated land, flooding, ground stability etc.). This screening tool is flexible and can be tailored to each client’s risk type and tolerance requirements. Stage 2: A detailed desktop report is provided for any assets highlighted at risk. These reports are provided by our specialists and provide a manual and pragmatic analysis. Stage 3: We provide consultation services for any assets remaining at high risk aſter Stage 2. This may comprise consultation with the regulatory authority (Local Authority, Environment Agency), or a review of past reports. Stage 4: If any assets remain at risk aſter Stage 3, we can present solutions to resolve these risks, which could include, for example, cost appraisals for flood protection measures or insurance terms for contaminated land insurance policies.

ServicesRisk screeningUsing the risk models powering our market-leading conveyancing reports, we are able to screen any number of sites against our comprehensive data library for risks associated with contaminated land and flooding. This will output an executive summary of risks across the portfolio, and identify those where the next stage of our service is required.

Desktop reportingUsing our market-leading conveyancing reports, we will provide due- diligence on the sites that matter. Each of these desktop reports will be completed manually by a highly qualified member of our consultancy team. For residential portfolios this will normally comprise a SiteSolutions Residence report, and for commercial portfolios this will normally comprise a SiteSolutions Combined report.

Targeted consultancyOur highly qualified consultancy team will provide appropriate consultancy services to suit the identified risks and wider transaction. This would normally comprise discussions with

regulatory authorities and could include more detailed site inspections, and Phase 1 reporting covering contaminated land and flood risk.

Risk managementWhere we are unable to mitigate risks within the portfolio, we will provide in-house risk management, or transfer options for a complete end-to-end service. If instructed, these could include providing environmental law expertise, drafting environmental warranties, property protection advice or the provision of insurance solutions.
