Postdoctoral Position Molecular and Cell Biology Penn State University

A postdoctoral position is available beginning

August, 1987 to study the biochemical regulation

and interactions of the C-SIC proto-oncogene

product. Studies involve reoombinant DNA, tissue

culture and protein analysis techniques. See Cell

49: 65-73,1987 for some examples of approaches

used. Relevant experience in molecular biology,

protein chemistry or immunochemistry is desirable.

SENIOR RESEARCH VIROLOGIST

The LILLY RESEARCH LABORATORIES, a Division of Eli Lilly and Company is seeking an established Senior Virologist to lead our antiviral research program.

The applicant should be an accomplished doctoral level virologist with a drug discovery ori- entation and proven track record. The position requires a scientist familiar with current tissue culture techniques and animal models, with a background well founded in molecular virology Preference will be given to candidates having knowlege of clinical virology

The Senior Virologist will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative anti- viral program. Broadly based scientific experi- ence and good communication skills will be essential for leading our multi-disciplinary drug discovery group.
