What started out in 2005 as a one-man design company is now a business with more than ten employees and customers in a handful of European countries. And when you are growing, you need the right ERP-system.

Making the Right ChoicePapfar switched to TRIMIT Fashion 6.02 from a C5 solution in February 2010. C5 was alright for a small business, but Papfar had grown so fast that they needed a system to match their special needs. Knowing the flexibility offered by a Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based solution, the initial plan was to look at several different solutions. But accord-ing to Marianne Ebersbach Pedersen, TRIMIT made such an impression at their presentation that Papfar asked for a price at once.

“We chose TRIMIT Fashion because of the possibilities the system gave us. TRIMIT Fashion is designed for the fashion industry, and its options are especially well suited to our line of work. The solution also came with the possibility of adding special-made functions and sharing the costs with other co-developers in the industry.”

TRIMIT was also the system of choice because it is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and is updated continuously, ensuring that the latest functionalities are available.

A Choice for the FuturePapfar started using TRIMIT Fashion in February 2010, and in March the system has already freed up manpower by

making it easier to manage orders and packaging. And in the future, Papfar expect the system to have a positive impact on such things as inventory control, customer services, and purchases.

“Today Papfar manages its European activities from Denmark through our distributor network, but TRIMIT supports further expansion abroad,” says Marianne Ebersbach Pedersen. “If we ever decide to set up a branch office abroad, TRIMIT Fashion will be a great tool.”

They understand our business model at Papfar and the special needs we have, and the introduction course to the system was very well executed. It’s obvious that CORNATOR has solid knowledge about the fashion industry.”

The system was installed very fast and well ahead of the time plan. The first hotfixes were installed smoothly as well, even though Papfar doesn’t have an IT-technician. CORNATOR’s hotline made sure everything worked the first time, and Papfar’s employees will now be able to install the next hotfixes themselves.
