PARTS  OF  THE  POSTER

Title  and  Authors

PARTS  OF  THE  POSTER

Schema@c  (Summary  Diagram)

A  picture  is  worth  1000  words.

One  of  the  best  presenta@on  tools  is  a  schema@c  that  shows  the  context  of  the  work  that  is  being  presented.

The  schema@c  can  be  used  when  explaining  the  purpose  of  the  poster  and  showing  an  adendee  where,  how,  or  why  the  work  is

important.

Methodologies

The  poster  should  include  a  sec@on  that  details  the  methodologies  used  to  generate  and  analysis  the  results.

The  sec@on  should  be  concise  so  that  an  adendee  may  review  the  methods.

It  is  appropriate  to  include  schemes  or  pictures  in  this  sec@on  if  appropriate.

Hypothesis  or  Central  Ques@ons/Goals

It  is  essen@al  to  prominently  describe  the  central  hypothesis,  goal,  or  research  ques@on  per@nent  to  your  discipline.

The  best  posters  frame  each  sec@on  with  addi@onal  ques@ons  or  goals.

Having  the  goals  or  ques@ons  displayed  will  also  assist  in  presen@ng  the  poster  to  the  adendees.
