This guideline has been designed to help you prepare for your poster presentation at
PCIM Europe 2017. Hereafter, guidelines and advice to follow in preparation for your
successful poster presentation are provided.

Registration of co-authors
Speakers must register online for the conference (at a reduced rate)
Please note that the registration is mandatory. After completing your online
registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. The PDF attached to this e-mail is
your entry ticket. Please print this ticket and bring it to the conference.
The special conference rate for speakers is 330.00 EUR + 19 % VAT.
The fee includes:
PCIM Europe 2017 proceedings will be included in the IET Inspec database,
Compendex, Scopus and IEEExplore
Free entrance to the PCIM Europe 2017 Exhibition
Invitation to the exhibition party on Tuesday, 16 May 2017 at the Exhibition Centre

We are offering special prices for co-authors who wish to register for the conference. The
price per person is 360/410 EUR for one day, 560/610 EUR for two days and 670/720
EUR for the full conference. All prices are per person and + 19 % VAT. The prices
depend on the date of registration (early registration fee available until 10 April 2017).
Information about the registration will be sent out to all co-authors directly in February
2017. Please inform us of additional co-authors, who were not included in your abstract,
as soon as possible.

No-show policy
It is important that as a confirmed speaker, you attend the conference in person to
deliver your presentation. Attendees plan their conference visit according to the
conference program and will probably have taken time to see you personally and find
out more about your results and developments.
If as a speaker you are, for any reason, unable to attend the conference, we would
urge that a co-author or appropriate colleague from your company/university presents
the paper. Please note that speaker changes are only possible in exceptional
cases and have to be reported immediately to Mesago PCIM GmbH in writing.
Mesago PCIM GmbH, as the organizer of the PCIM Europe conference, is responsible
for the quality of the event and cannot permit confirmed and announced papers to not
be presented.
If no one is available to present the paper and Mesago PCIM GmbH has not been
notified beforehand, the speaker will not be accepted for any other future PCIM
Conferences.

General
Instructions
To be included in the conference proceedings please send your manuscript as a
processable PDF file transmitted via e-mail. The proceedings will be published on a
USB flash drive and your manuscript will be included exactly as it is submitted.
Manuscripts must be handed in by 15 March 2017.
In order that we can ensure that the proceedings are available at the beginning of the
conference, your manuscript must reach us by this deadline. Please be aware that
manuscripts which are submitted too late will not be published in the proceedings or
the IET Inspec database, Scopus, Compendex and IEEExplore. If your manuscript is
not submitted by this date, you are requested to send a copy of your paper to all
participants prior to the conference.
Please note that Mesago PCIM GmbH reserves the right to cancel any presenta-
tion if the manuscript is not submitted. Furthermore, please note that your
manuscript will only be published in the proceedings if you have successfully
registered as speaker.
If nothing particular has been individually agreed upon with the author, the number of
pages is restricted to a maximum of 8 pages. Your manuscript will not be edited or
rewritten. With regards to the general outline and graphical style of the proceedings
we therefore ask you to use the template for your manuscript, which includes all
important writing instructions. This can be downloaded or ordered via e-mail from

Important guidelines, which have to be absolutely aligned, are:
Margins (left 1,65 cm, right 1,65 cm, top 2,5 cm, bottom 3,5 cm)
Pictures and graphics have to be embedded in the PDF file
No indication of page numbers (will be carried out by the publisher)
Use of font Arial (minimum size 10), text 12 pt line spacing
The use of company letterheads or paper with company logos will automati-
cally lead to the manuscript being rejected! The same applies if any company
identification is printed automatically throughout the text or if company-
/product brochures are used as a "component" in the manuscript.

Poster format and layout
Please e-mail the manuscript before the 15 March 2017 deadline. The earlier we
receive your manuscript, the more thoroughly we can review it and be of assistance if
anything requires your attention.
Please send your manuscript (processable PDF file) to:
Manuscripts up to 10 MB can be sent via e-mail.
Please do not forget to read the Copyright Agreement PDF file. When you submit
your manuscript to Mesago PCIM GmbH you will be deemed to agree with these
conditions.
The production of the USB flash drive may not be performed with any kind of
unlicensed software. The authors of manuscripts must therefore affirm that only
licensed software has been used to prepare their paper and thus release Mesago
PCIM GmbH from any claim for damages from third parties.
Please note that you can bring two posters. The design and content of the posters
is a matter of the speaker. However we recommend that the size of your posters will
be DIN A0 (84.1cm x 118.9cm) in upright format and that you use colours for high-
lighting to make your posters more attractive. Hand-written papers are not allowed.
Please make sure that you send your posters in electronic form by 27 April 2017 to
. This is only for a last quality check, each presenter is
responsible for the production of the posters himself.

Presentation
The dialogue sessions, during which the posters are presented, will take place on
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Please see the preliminary program for the
exact date and place of your presentation.
During the dialogue session no lecture sessions will be taking place. The dialogue
presentation is very useful for prolonged discussions with specialists at your poster
booth. The papers of the dialogue presentations will also be included in the
conference proceedings and have the same importance as the papers from the
lecture presentations. The dialogue session offers a great opportunity for presenting
your work directly to other participants and discussing it with them.
Each speaker will be provided with his/her own display board for presenting the
paper. Additionally, the organizer will provide a sign on each booth indicating the
number of your paper, as printed in the official conference program.
The booth will be in a V-shape and allows you to set up your presentation in an area
of 2 x 1 m wide and 2.5 m height from the bottom. Each speaker will also have a
table within the booth area. Please note that there are two walls per speaker, we
recommend to bring two posters for your presentation.
You may set up your poster in the morning of the day on which you will be presenting
your paper. Please set up your poster at least 3 hours before starting the dialogue
session. Please note that it is important that the speaker is present during the
dialogue session. Your material must be removed by 6.30 pm on the day of your
presentation. Any material that is not removed will be thrown away. The necessary
equipment (double-sided adhesive tape) for setting up your presentation will be
provided by the organizer and can be collected at the conference counter.
The official language during the entire conference will be English. Please prepare
your poster in English.
The speakers room serves as a meeting point for advisory board members and
speakers. It may also be used for brief discussions with third parties.
