Conventional boot construction transfers the power through the cuff to the shell, dissipating part of the energy. More forward lean is required to engage the boot’s power, which is too demanding for many skiers.

Direct contact between the boot’s tongue and shell allows immediate energy transfer from the skier to the ski. With as little as 5° forward flex, skiers transmit tremendous power to the skis while feeling confidence from the progressive flex.

Modern skiing requires comfort, efficiency, and control. HEAD‘s new EVO Frame is built around the leg-

endary Vector last, but features a new highly efficient Dynamic frame which directs 80% of the energy

directed from the body toward the rear of the shell. This stiff area cradles the skiers heel with comfort

and power. However, the forefoot is able to articulate for better balance.

Forefoot area is less subjected to mechanical stresses but needs to provide the feeling on the snow.

The Dynamic Frame has been designed to obtain the best sensitivity and the dynamic response of the

boot sole when the ski is flexing.

The Vector EVO shell also has a new hinge

position, 18 mm backward, precisely located

to provide a progressive flex for expert skiers.

The new Evo Stance construction is the combi-

nation a more vertical forward lean of 14° and

a ramp angle of 4°, with flatter boot board for

a more centered and comfortable stance: ski-

ers will find themselves in a very athletic, but

relaxed skiing position.

The Hammer and Thrasher shell has a new hinge position, precisely located to provide a

progressive and natural flex for smoother and gradual power transmission. The new Ergo

Stance construction is the result of a more aggressive forward lean of 16° and a ramp

angle of 4°, to provide a centred wight distribution to improve reactivity .

This new construction secure power, precision and ski on any kind of terrain. In addition

with a precise fit, 100 mm last, and high performance structure derived from the Racing

Deptment experience.

The innovative three piece construction,“Triad Ergotech Shell”,

provides precision and performance in any terrain and snow con-

dition. The boots progressive and natural flex is provided by the

open throat shell, in addition to the interchangeable tongue and

pivot point. The pivot point is placed where the ankle flexes at the

rotating point of the shell. The interchangeable tongue allows cus-

tomization of the flex to match any snow condition.

Thanks to a new quick entry geometry, the Cube3 is

extremely easy to get into. Simply tilt back the shaft and

step in. In addition, the 3-buckle construction with an

oversized top buckle allows easy and quick buckling in

and a great, snug fit.

Outside of the binding, the shaft of the Cube3 is always

unlocked, allowing natural walking. This, in combination

with (patended) SoftWalk heel and grip system on the heel,

makes the Cube a superb walking boot.

The moment you step into your binding the patented inte-

grated AutoSkiWalk mechanism blocks the shaft, allowing

you to speed off down the mountain without bowing, bend-

ing or buckling.
