The tourists that visits France per year is about 65 million people and its population is 63 million people. That means the number of people that visit France is more than the number of people that lives in France.

Paris National Opera

Paris National Opera was built in 1669 and was called ‘The Royal Academy of Music’. Nowadays it is used where popular opera’s take place and also for famous ballet spectacle.

The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel tower was built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel. It is 324 metres in height and we need to climb 1669 steps to reach the top.

In the Louvre museum

What is very interesting to see in the Louvre museum is ‘La joconde’ by Leonardo de Vinci. La joconde is mostly known as Mona Lisa.

Outside of the Louvre museum what really atracts attention in the

garden of the old Louvre courtyard is the pyramid du Louvre. This pyramid is made of glass and metal and was built in 1983.

Champs Elysees

The Champs Elysees is a place where tourists go shopping. There's are lots of café and expensive shopping to do there.

The Arch of triumph The arch of triumph is located at

the end of champ elysees. It is more then 50 metres in height and was built in 1836. For France the arch of triumph is a real national symbol.

Tour de France

The champs Elysees is also where le tour de France finishes. You will have the occasion to follow the last stage of le tour de France soon on the 28th of july.
