ABOUT THE PROGRAM:-
The World Bank has designed Professional Diploma in Public Procurement program for procurement
professionals and who are aspiring for a career in Public Procurement to acquire in depth domain
knowledge. Examination is also given by World Bank.
Indian Institute of Materials Management, an apex institute of professionals for the field of Supply
Chain across the nation is a partnering institute to deliver the PDPP program.
CAREER OBJECTIVES:-
PDPP aims to build up a strong foundation in Public Procurement and endeavors procurement
practitioners in India to understand the process and best practices in Public Procurement followed
in Govt. of India and States.
PDPP tries to enable those who are aspiring for a career in public procurement to acquire in-depth
knowledge and understanding of the field.

Procurement Professionals for u p d a t i n g domain knowledge.
Non-procurement professionals who are associated with the procurement f u n c t i o n .
Employees of private sector who bid in Public Procurement.

DURATION – 6 MONTHS
Registration is open throughout the year. Examination can be taken after 6 months of the registration.
For fast track candidates, who have completed online learning, the duration of 6 months can be relaxed.
1st examination is being planned during March/April 2015. Last date of registration for this
examination is 31st December 2014.
Thereafter examinations will be held during each September and March.

Graduate in any discipline or diploma in Engineering/Pharmacy/Hotel Management/Hospital
Management
FEES
Rs 20,000/- + Service Tax, per candidate for the full program. It can be reduced to Rs 15000/- + Service
Tax if a group of 5 or more registered together
CURRICULUM – 8 MODULES
Module numbers 1 to 6 are compulsory. Two modules are to be opted out of modules 7 to 11. Module
details are on the last page.
MODE & DETAILS OF THE LEARNING
Modules are to be learnt online and it is to ensure better learning but marks obtained do not count
towards total evaluation. One has to pass (online) module by securing 70% + marks (even by multi
attempts) in the 20 questions given at the end of a module. One can proceed to the next module only
after the previous module is cleared.
Reading Material is available online. Hard copies will also be provided to candidates by IIMM.
ASSESSMENT STRUCTURE
A Candidate after having passed the modules & the assignments and having undergone 5 days contact
class program conducted by IIMM will be taking examination on the 5th day of the contact class. The
evaluation towards award of PDPP is given below
a) Assignments – Total 4 in number. Three assignments one each from 30%
Modules (1 & 2), (3 & 4) and (5 & 6) are to be submitted.
Fourth Assignment will be from the 2 opted modules i.e. modules (7 – 11)
b) Assessment of the level of participation during the entire program 10%
including contact classes
c) Online Examination at the end of contact classes taken by the 60%
World Bank and coordinated by IIMM (1 Paper of 2 hrs Duration)
ISSUANCE OF DIPLOMA: - Diploma will be issued by IIMM carrying the endorsement of the program
being powered by The World Bank.

HOW TO REGISTER
1. Log on to www.procurementlearning.org
2. Enter the Tab on Diploma Program.
3. Enter the Tab – “Click here for Registration” for PDPP Program.
4. Enter all the fields for registration.
5. Click on “Create My Account” after filling in all the required information.
6. After creating an account, a confirmatory mail will be generated automatically to your mail id,
you have mentioned in the registration process. Login to your mail id and confirm that your
mail id is correct by clicking the link given in the mail.
7. Now that you have created your account, select the Partner Institute as IIMM from the drop
down menu.
8. Fill in the rest fields and attach the documents.
9. In last, press “Enroll Me”.
10. The enrolment application for PDPP will be sent to the branch you have chosen. You will then
be informed by the branch for submission of fees.
NOTE: However, Provision for initial batches has also been made to register offline by
submitting an application form along with bank DD/Cheque in favour of IIMM supported by
Highest Qualification certificate. This be sent to 4598/12 B, Ansari Road, Daryanganj Address.
