The biggest issue many individuals face is budgeting their money. Many tend to spend what they do not have. There are two of many ways to figure out what you can and cannot spend.

1)Check Book: By balancing your check book you can keep track of your pay checks and what you have spent from it. After your bills are paid for and other expenses then you are able to see what you can spend a little extra on. 2)Microsoft Money: Microsoft Money is a software that kind of acts like a technological check book. Within Microsoft Money you can download all of your accounts, such as water bills, electric bills etc. From their it will organize all of your accounts for you and calculate everything. (See Figure 1.1 on next slide)

Retain a copy of your credit report so you can truly grasp where you stand. With Microsoft Money, you get a free copy of your credit report and one years worth of monitoring from Experian. Experian can give you quick and easy access to your report and credit score to learn what positive and negative factors can affect credit, and Microsoft Money can help you understand what your credit score means and how lenders evaluate it.

As online banking becomes more prominent due to its convenience, people are using it to ensure that bills are paid on time and in a quick and easy fashion. By paying your bills on time you are also avoiding any late fees that can occur.
