    The Best Possible Vacation

The first time I went to

    Myrtle Beach, South

Carolina, I knew that this wasjust the kind of vacation I

    would always love.

As I sat on the beach, I felt the

    gentle breeze coming from the

    water. The warm sun was

shining on the water making it

    sparkle. It was so peaceful.

    The waves crashing

    against the shore were

    soothing.

    2) The Blond Guitar

My most valuable possession is an

old, slightly warped blond guitar--the first instrument I taught myself

how to play. It's nothing fancy, just

a Madeira folk guitar, all scuffedand scratched and finger-printed.

At the top is a bramble of copper-

wound strings, each one hookedthrough the eye of a silver tuning

    key.

    16/20

The strings are stretched down a

long, slim neck, its frets tarnished, thewood worn by years of fingers

    pressing chords and picking notes.

The body of the Madeira is shapedlike an enormous yellow pear, one

    that was slightly damaged in

shipping. The blond wood has beenchipped and gouged to gray,

particularly where the pick guard fell

    off years ago.

No, it's not a beautiful instrument,

but it still lets me make music, and

for that I will always treasure it.

    Joke:

A Sardarji once went to America. He

toured the entire united states andbefore returning he visited Washington

    D.C to hear John F. Kennedy's speech.

During his speech Kennedy told thecrowd that he had slept with only one

    other woman than his wife

and challenged the crowd to guesswho she was. When the crowd gave up

he promptly told that it was his mother.

The crowd went wild and the surdar

    was very impressed.

When he came back a party wasthrown in honor of him and he was

    asked to give a speech.

He remembered kennedy's speech andhe told the crowd that he had slept

with only one woman other than his

wife and challenged the people toguess who the person was.

When the crowd gave up the surdar

    said, Kennedy's mother.
