Our client is a service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work.The client has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment promotion, energy and the environment, and peace and security.

Client’s Requirement

A detailed analysis mini grids in India based on empirical data – in particular with respect to the commercial, productive and agricultural usage of mini grids.

Individual Approach:The individual approach shall suit better for the client specific requirement in order to have an appropriate understanding of mini-grid need & sizing in country by examining case of both B2C as well as B2B consumers. This shall involve site specific survey covering both the business as well individual consumer categories utilizing data capturing software and structured questionnaire oriented to seek inputs to determine the conditions for setting & sizing of off-grid installations through already established one’s.

Methodology:Complete utilization of client’s need based “structured questionnaire” shall be done by conducting individual F2F interactions. Apart from this focused group discussions shall be carried on with the group of consumer categories/operators of mini-grid for distinct sites. Use of data capturing software such as Formation, ABBY Flex Capture & Biz Efficiency shall be done which can ensure accurate electronic data capture from remote sites and works for both mobile/pad like devices.

Our Sustainability vertical help clients assessing the feasibility of a certain business. For any business, the real challenge comes in terms of measuring its sustainability

For this engagement we employed our “Client Learning” division to garner the effective solution for the client. To determine potential sites and its feasibility structured questionnaire was prepared in consultation with client, to seek inputs to determine the conditions for setting & sizing of off-grid installations through already established one’s. Each site shall have similar structured feed with close to 10 individuals being the part of survey and the feed obtained shall be studied by qualified statistician and sector/domain experts/researchers to build upon the feed and provide for analytical insights. Use of data capturing software such as Formation, ABBY Flex Capture & Biz Efficiency was done. Also, usage of micro grid dedicated software like Homer Pro was done. The statistical examination dedicated software like STATA & Statistix shall be used by team of specialists to analyse the results obtained through survey and iterated as per final required results.
