Failure to complete and submit an HSP that complies with Good Faith Efforts with the proposal will be cause for rejection of the proposal.

Submit one (1) original and one (1) identical copy of your HSP.

You will need to complete and submit an HSP that complies with Good Faith Efforts – if not you proposal will be rejected. On the day we open the proposal – we will make sure that you have completed and turned in all the required docs. After that we will send your HSP down to our Hub department where they will check your HSP for compliance. If you HSP is not in compliance you will rejected and not move forward to the Evaluation Phase. At the end of my presentation I will turn this over to Ms. Cassandra Johnson, Hub Coordinator who will go over the HUB requirement in more detail.

1.33SPECIAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: (See also UGC, Article 5)   A.Umbrella Liability Insurance: Amount of Insurance. Coverage shall be provided with a limit of not less than $5,000,000. The Contractor shall maintain such insurance in identical coverage, form and amount, including required endorsements, for at least two (2) years following Date of Substantial Completion of the Work to be performed under this Contract. The Contractor shall provide written representation to the Owner stating Work completion date.   B.Builder’s Risk (or Installation Floater for Equipment Installation Only): Builder’s Risk is a requirement of this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals and Contract Documents.

Liquidated Damages: The sum of $1,134.34 per calendar day has been set as a reasonable estimate of just compensation to the Owner if Contractor does not complete the work by the completion date. (Section 01000, Special Conditions, Paragraph 1.06 and Article 9, UGC)

Prevailing Wages: Contractor shall not pay less than the wage scale of various classes of labor as shown on the prevailing wage schedule that is included in the solicitation documents. Specified rates are minimum only LDs: Owner had determined that completion of this project is critical to the facility. The sum of $1,134.34 per calendar day has been set as a reasonable compensation to the Owner if Contractor does not complete the work by the completion date. The contractor will be required to submit a performance bond and a performance bond. Both bonds must be in the amount of the contract and submitted on the form provided

Project Overview: Halff Associates

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE:

Constructed in 1913 and reconstructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) around 1938

Bastrop SP is listed as a National Historic Landmark

Designated critical habitat for the Houston toad Bastrop SP Lake is a major feature of the park providing recreational fishing

and canoeing for daily park users and users of the Pioneer Village cabin area

Original Bastrop SP Lake Dam failed on May 25, 2015 by overtopped the earthen dam

Bastrop SP Lake Dam reconstruction meets TCEQ Dam Safety regulations Listed as a small, high hazard classification High hazard classification requires the reconstructed dam to safely pass the

75% Probable Maximum Flood (PMF).

Project Overview: Halff Associates

Due to the significance of this project, TPWD has allowed extended work hours during construction of the stilling basin, retaining walls, roller compacted concrete (RCC), and the Park Road 1A/1B intersection. Details of extended work hours (with advance notice to TPWD) are outlined on Sheet 4 and summarized below:
