Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
● Abbreviated to PPE
● Covered by the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations (1992)
● Must be supplied by an employer
● Must be suitable and adequate for the job being undertaken
● Is listed in the risk assessment
● Must be stored and maintained carefully
● Hazardous equipment/areas should have mandatory signs to show what PPE must be used.
