28000 Franklin Rd. (Banquet Hall)

Front door was forced open.

Officers responded to an alarm at Banquet Hall. Officers arrived and found the front door open. The manager for hall reviewed video surveillance and discovered the bride and groom from wedding reception that night broke into the hall after they closed. Officers reviewed surveillance video and observed the following: An unknown dark vehicle pulls up out in front of the hall. A black female in a white wedding dress is observed pulling violently on the north entry door. The door pops open and she enters the hall. A black male wearing a white tuxedo jacket enters the hall and then goes into the men's bathroom. The female is observed walking in north hallway. She is then observed entering the large banquet room. She rummages around the bar area and then is joined by the male who uses his cell phone as a flashlight. The two enter the kitchen area and are rummaging through a store room and food warmer. It appears that the female "squatted to urinate" on the kitchen floor. Upon exiting the female is observed carrying a bottle of liquor. R/P identified the male and female as the bride and groom from a wedding reception held that night. The just married “Partners in Crime” have been identified and incident is under investigation.

29000 Lahser Rd. Rear door was forced open.

Victim states he is a contractor remodeling the residence. He had tools stored inside and upon returning to the location this date he discovered the rear door forced open (door and jam were damaged) and several of his tools missing. At the time of this report he advised that an air compressor, nail gun, air hose and a manual stapler are missing. The incident occurred sometime over the past three days.

23000 Norcrest Dr. Service door to garage was pried open and the patio door wall was lifted off its track.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the 23000 Block of Norcrest on a suspicious suspect running through the yard, carrying rifle cases. Suspect was observed jumping fences running through the backyards. Witness yelled at him and suspect dropped three rifle cases. Suspect continued to run N/B through the yards. Witnesses also stated that the suspect had on a backpack. The residence in question had the service door to garage pried open. The patio door to residence had also been pried off its track. No entry had been made into the house. A Southfield Police K-9 Unit was called in and several

rifles and cases were recovered.

23000 Norcrest Dr. Rear window was broken out and a 5 Gallon Bucket was used to stand on to gain entry. The side door to garage was pried open as well.

Sometime between 10:00am- 11:57am suspect gained entry into residence. Several rifles and a hand gun were missing. Officers and a Southfield Police K-9 recovered some of the guns during a track. Still missing are some rifles, a handgun, misc. coins, and set of ladies golf clubs. Also taken in this Home Invasion were a Backpack Blower & a Miter Saw. There was also an Attempt Home Invasion at another residence on Norcrest. Believed to be the same suspect in both incidents. Suspect Description: Last Name

21000 Indian St. Entry through north side living room window.

Victim states he left his home on Tuesday November 22, 2016 around 12:00pm. Victim returned home on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at approx. 4:30pm and discovered his front living room window busted out. Several items were rummaged through and taken. A Sony PlayStation 3, seven bins of marijuana, plastic containers and miscellaneous change/coins. Victim stated his security video captured the incident. Victim was able to identify one of the suspects as his neighbor who he has had problems with in the past. 23000 Poplar Dr. There were no obvious signs of forced entry.

Victim states she left to go to work at 1:45am. She returned home at approx. 10:30am and discovered her overhead garage door was open and the door leading from the garage into the house was unlocked. Further inspection of the residence revealed that her master bedroom was ransacked; the mattress on her bed had been flipped over. Cash, Laptop and 3- Flat Screen TV’s were taken from the residence.

20000 Woodburn Dr. The shipping container door was pried open.

Site Manager for property advises that he and his crew left the site at approx. 5:00pm. They returned to the site the following morning at 5:00am. The shipping container was secured by two 2x4 wooden boards and a pad lock when they left the scene the day prior. The shipping container door was pried open. STOLEN PROPERTY Hand Compactor, Impact Gun and a Generator were taken.

Officers were dispatched to Investigate Auto Theft. Victim’s husband was able to bring up surveillance video of incident on his phone. Officers observed a Dodge Charger that appeared black in color stop in the street just before the driveway. A male ran up to victims Explorer, broke out the window, and jumped into the car. Another male ran up to the front of the vehicle and pushed it backward out of the driveway. Once the vehicle was in the street, the Dodge Charger drove away and a pickup truck that appeared white in color drove behind the Explorer, pushing it down the street. It appeared there were at least four (4) suspects involved total. The time the suspects first appeared in the video was 4:12am.

The vehicle was recovered by DPD in Detroit at 9:30am. The Wheels & Tires were missing from the vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied and no arrests were made.

Officer while on routine patrol observed vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Hotel in the 26000 Block of Central Park Blvd. The vehicle was unoccupied. A LEIN check of the license plate showed the vehicle was listed as stolen. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle by Clearwater Florida PD on 10-13-2016. A hold for latent prints was listed. No suspect info was listed. The vehicle was recovered and impounded for safe keeping and to be processed.

SHATTERED WINDOW ON DRIVERS SIDE

Victim states she parked her vehicle in the parking lot at her Apartment Complex around 8:30pm. Victim returned to her vehicle the following morning around 9:40am and discovered it was gone. In the parking space was shattered glass indicating a window on the driver side was broken out. Vehicle was recovered by DPD on 12/01/2016 at 10:00am. The rear driver side window was broken, gear shift was damaged, push marks were on the bumper and vehicle was missing All Four Wheels & Tires. No arrests were made.

29000 Telegraph Rd. (Car Dealership)

Nothing was found to be taken at the time of report but a citizen who had his car in for service reported he discovered several items were taken from his vehicle when he came to pick up his vehicle on December 1, 2016.

R/P (porter) who was inside the car dealership advises he was opening the door to the rear of the establishment when he saw a person jump over the fence in the rear lot where several vehicles are parked. R/P called the police, and when officers arrived there was a male walking N/B Telegraph from the car lot that matched the description given by dispatch. The subject denied having anything to do with the incident that had happened at dealership. The subject matched the description given but R/P could not positively identify the subject. The subjects hand was cut and his pants were stretched and torn by what appeared to be a sharp object. The subject gave consent to search his person. Subject had a pocket knife and a flash light in his pocket. No items from any vehicles from the lot were recovered at this time and the subject was RPI’d. Note: The suspect has had prior contacts with the police. A LEIN check showed multiple

incidents with subject as the suspect for similar incidents. Suspect has been identified and incident is under further investigation.

Victim states her vehicle was broken into sometime between 8:00pm & the following morning at 6:25am. Entry was gained by punching the driver door lock. 1-Pair of women’s gym shoes and a Handgun Magazine (Only) was taken from the vehicle.

R/P is a Loss Prevention Officer for Business. R/P states on Monday November 28, 2016 one of their delivery vans was broken into. Access was gained by punching the passenger door lock. A cell phone was taken from the vehicle. Surveillance Video shows what is believed to be a White Ford Expedition or Explorer as the suspect vehicle.

Attempt to take All Four Wheels & Tires from 2017 Ford Fusion.

Victim states sometime between 10:30pm – 1:45am someone removed all of the lug nuts from all four wheels & tires and had placed cinder blocks under the vehicle. Victim didn’t realize that the lug nuts were removed until after she moved the cinder blocks and backed the car up. Her wheels & tires started to fall off of the car.

Victim states he went to the gas station to buy some cigarettes. He also admitted he went to a friend's house before that and purchased some marijuana. He stated he went to Miller Park to smoke. He parked his vehicle at the park and was sitting there smoking when two subjects approached his vehicle. One subject asked him for a cigarette. Victim told the subject he did not have any. A second subject then approached the vehicle pointing a gun at victim and told him to get out of the car. Victim got out of his car and the subjects asked for his phone. Victim gave suspects his IPhone. After giving suspects his IPhone the suspect’s then drove away with victim’s vehicle. A short time later OnStar advised that the vehicle was parked in a parking lot (Dental Office) in the area of 12 Mile & Southfield. The vehicle was located and Officers set up surveillance on vehicle. The suspects never returned to the vehicle and it was impounded. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Arrests by SPD Officers: Special Attention: Possible Attempt Abduction 25000 Block of Pierce 12/06/2016 4:15pm On the listed date and time, Officers were dispatched to the area of the 25000 Block of Pierce on a report of a possible Attempt Abduction involving a 12 year old child. The victim stated that he was walking home from school in the area of Southwood and Sherfield Pl. when he noticed that a Black Dodge Ram Pickup appeared to be following him. The victim stated that the driver of the vehicle asked him to get in the vehicle and he refused. The victim stated that the passenger exited the vehicle and grabbed the hood on his sweatshirt and attempted to pull him towards the vehicle. The victim was able to pull away from the suspect and escape on foot. The vehicle and suspects left the area in an unknown direction. A BOL was sent out via LEIN with suspect information. Suspect Vehicle: Newer Model Black Dodge Ram Pickup Truck. Suspect #1: (Driver): W/M/40-50 year’s old, dark short hair and a dark mustache. The suspect was wearing a red and black plaid jacket described as lumberjack style.

Suspect #2 (Passenger): W/M unknown age and facial hair. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, a black/grey jacket, blue jeans and Jordan brand gym shoes.

DWLS/ Possession of Stun Gun- 1- Arrest 12/03/2016 9:16pm Telegraph Rd. & W. Twelve Mile Rd. Officer while on routine patrol ran license plate that came back as a Fraudulent License Plate, per SOS confiscate the plate. Officer stopped the vehicle to investigate. After approaching the vehicle the driver stated his license was suspended and he had a knife in his pocket. Officer conducted a consent search and recovered the knife and a stun gun. The stun gun was fully operational and in good working condition. The driver was arrested for DWLS & Possession of Stun Gun. The knife was legal and secured back in suspect’s vehicle.

Disorderly Conduct/ Resisting- 2- Arrests 12/03/2016 11:59pm 28000 Block of Willow Ct.

(Apartments) Officers were dispatched to the 28000 Block of Willow Court (Apartments) for a disturbance/fight in the parking lot. Officers located the combatants. The male half was highly intoxicated. The female stated nothing physical happened she was just trying to get her husband to go into apartment. The male half started yelling and causing a disturbance in the parking lot. He refused to calm down when officers intervened and requested him to stop yelling and to calm down. Officers attempted to take the male half into custody and he resisted arrest. He was eventually taken into custody. The female half was also arrested as she interfered with Officers while they were attempting to arrest her husband. She resisted arrest as well. Both subjects were arrested for Disorderly & Resisting.

OWI- 1- Arrest 4:11am N/B M-10 & 9 Mile Rd. Officers observed a vehicle travelling the wrong way, S/B on M-10 in the N/B lanes of M-10 freeway. Officers caught up to the vehicle and the vehicle was stopped at M-10 & Nine Mile Rd. The female driver showed signs of intoxication and was investigated for OWI. The driver was subsequently arrested for OWI and lodged.
