ELEGIBILITY

A ll service providers who have a total freightexchange earning of at least Rs.10 lac in thepreceding or current financial year shall beeligible to qualify for a duty credit entitlement.

For individuals who are service providers, thetotal freight exchange earned criteria would beRs. 5 lac in the preceding financial year.

In the case of hotels and stand alone restaurants,the duty credit entitlement may also be used forthe import of food items and alcoholic beverages.
