    pm for both teams.

  • The boy's 7th grade basketball team lost to Conrady 50-41. Practice Saturday from

  • Student Council is hosting their annual Food Drive challenge against

Grissom. There are themes for each day:

Today is Canned fruits and vegetables. Bring in any canned fruits and

veggies that you want to be donated. There is a sign where you can drop

    them off.

  • The media center will be trying something new. Tinker Tuesday will be held in the media center during TIPs. For the first

activity, we will be creating a board with your initial painted on it. To sign up, visit the media center and scan the QR code. Only 10 students from each team will be able to participate. Students must sign

    up by tomorrow.

  • The newspaper club is selling Valentines during lunch

periods this week. Valentines will be published in the February newspaper.

  • Food, Fun, Laughs, High Schoolers, Friends...what else could you ask

for? Sign up for Snowflake before it's too late! Permission slips are due February 7th and Snowflake is on Friday, February

23rd. You don't want to miss out!

  • On February 9th from 6-8pm will be the Prairie View and Grissom

Middle School Blackout Dance! It will be hosted at Grissom Middle

School. Glow sticks and concessions will be sold! Tickets are on sale this week and next week during lunch!

  • Do you sing in front of your mirror, hairbrush in hand, lip synching to your favorite songs? If so, come be a part of history as Prairie View

recreates our school’s Lip Dub Music Video! The Lip Dub Committee is looking for individuals with STYLE,

PERSONALITY, ENTHUSIASM, AND “LIPSYNCHABILITY!” If you have what it takes, you will be featured in our school music video

highlighting everything that is Prairie View! Here’s what to do:

    1) Grab a permission form from the office, Mrs. Hecht, Mrs. Sobut, Mrs. Mac, or Mrs. Waz and turn it in no later than Wednesday,

February 7th. 2) Sign up for an audition day—Thursday, February 8th or Friday, February 9th from 3-4:30pm. Sign up will be posted on the wall in

the foyer. 3) You can audition alone, with a friend, or with a group of friends! If

you have any questions, see Mrs. Mac, Mrs. Waz, Mrs. Hecht or Mrs. Sobut.

  • To celebrate Prairie View’s 25 years of existence we will be playing the top

songs of each year. Today we will be playing the hits

    from 2004.

  • And remember Prairie View, believe in yourself and believe in each other!
